good morning one and all!
im back home, and i got pics! i attempted to put a pic of some ice cream on here, and i could not see it, so i figured y'all couldnt see it either, so i removed it, but yarnsmith sent me a note asking about the huge pics of ice cream so i guess y'all seen it....
anyhoo, i had a wunnerful time! i went on a ski lift for the 1st time in my life(never again)!!!! skeered the be-cheesus outta me! also, i went on an alpine sled ride, and that was great!
park city is for the rich folk! all i seen were condos and hotels; shops with hi priced clothes, {450 bucks for a COAT!}and lotsa neat galleries! you need a car to get around for sure; but they do have a free bus system that is good and runs 7 days a week! i didnt see any regular houses there; so i guess every one lives inna condo?! they do have a wal mart and a mc'ds and burger king. i got cupons for a pizza place that was overpriced, rip off lousy food! the only thing that was ok there was the burger. they do not know how to cook french fries!!! and the chicken cordon bleu...well i love cordon bleu, but this places idea of it was chicken strips and a thinly sliced piece of ham and cheese on a bun! now i do not normally waste food...but this was ewwwwwwww. albertsons supermarket made better sandwiches!
the hot tub was broke, and i was disapointed on that, and i had a gift certificate for a fancy hi class resturant, and ate a shank of lamb! that was mouth watering! the weather was real nice, and all in all park city is a very pretty clean place! but very very spendy! if ya decide to go there, bring lots and lots of cash! one funny thing i seen was the fact that there were stores that rent skis! and they had em out, and there was no snow at all! people were biking on the trails, and hiking. i have a pic of an old timey silver mine; i didnt know they had silver mines here. greyhound or amtrak do not come here, and in talking to some of the friendly local people there, they do not understand why; most of the visitors there come from salt lake and its only 30 miles away. well, everyone has cars! so no need for greyhound or amtrak! for those of us that do not have a car, u can take a van ride for about 28 bucks one way, thats about a buck a mile, and is ok.

thank you one and all who sent me happy birthday messages! i appreciate it very much! it makes me feel like people do like me and i am accepted!let me know if ya see the pics and what ya think! i took em with those cheapy one use throw away cameras and they came out suprizingly well! so today, i am gonna clean up around here and watch TV! dont miss the vice presidential debate tonight! 9pm eastern time!~friday is round 2 of the idiot and kerry debate! have fun! byeeeeeeee!
