for those of you that dont know what the curse of the bambino is, i will explain.
even if you are not a baseball fan, i am sure you have heard of babe ruth!

way back in 1918, babe ruth played for the red sox, and the red sox won the world series.
the next year, 1919, the red sox SOLD babe ruth to the YANKEES.
for the next 84 years the yankees have won 26 world series championships.
the red sox did not win ANY.
the next time the red sox were in the world series was in 1946,then 1967,1975 and 1986.
each time they could have won, but things happened...
this was the CURSE. they were cursed for selling babe ruth to the yankees!
the curse has been broken!
