well, here we are, we complain about the president and what he is doing, we complain about our civil liberties being eroded away in the name of security; now we had a chance to do something about it, and what do we do???
we re -elect the bastard!! so i tell u the next time some idiot with a security wand waves it over you and it beeps cause of your belt buckle, and they take you in a lil windowless room and violate all of your constitutional rights in the name of national security, DONT COME WHINEING TO ME I DONT WANNA HEAR IT!!!! you get what you voted for! Did San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom help George W Bush win reelection? It might seem like a silly question. Newsom is the darling of the left -- a big city Democratic mayor who campaigned hard on behalf of John Kerry. But there it is on liberal talk radio and on the blogs. "I can tell you that nationally there are folks who are blaming San Francisco," said San Francisco political science professor Corey Cook. "There's a rumbling about that." While Cook says it would be irresponsible to link Newsom to the presidential results, plenty of others do. Here's why. After San Francisco legalized gay marriages, George Bush proposed a constitutional amendment to ban them. Then same-sex marriage opponents in 11 states put similar measures on the ballot. All won, and all brought out a lot of conservative, religious voters. In fact, exit polls showed most people say they were motivated to vote not as much by Iraq, terrorism, or the economy as by what they called "moral issues." "In a race that comes down to 100,000 votes in Ohio, the mobilization of churchgoers in Ohio was massive," said Cook. "That was really the split, I think, in the election." But Molly McKay and other advocates take great exception to that analysis. The head of Equality Now and a bride for a time before the law was overturned, she'll tell you it galvanized Kerry voters. "If we look at the statistics comparing how Gore did compared to Kerry, Kerry actually did better in those battleground states," McKay said. The mayor was also offended by the implication that his actions hurt the Democrats' chance at the White House. "I find it pretty repugnant ... that people would question, based upon strong beliefs, someone or somebody that at least stands up -- disagree or agree -- to say you want to right a wrong, you want to stop injustice," Newsom said. Gay marriage opponents said they were just glad there were 11 new same-sex bans. "Most people didn't see this as a referendum on gay and lesbian issues, they saw this as an issue of marriage and whether or not the definition that has served us very well is worth preserving," said Georgine Rice, a backer of the Oregon ban. "the precedeing rant was brought to you by the 1st cuppa coffee and cigarette in the morning! ahhh, hack hack hack!!!"

todays tale of true stuff occurred just yesterday, in the middle of major league flu season!!!

WELL, yesterday was payday!! and the gubbermint money went into the NEW ACCOUNT swimmingly!!! so, i went out to get a computer desk at wal-mart!
i didnt know where the wal-mart was at, so i went to the website and looked.
once i located the address, i then looked on the transit systems map to find the quickest way there. once there, i realised that the wal-mart is just 9 blocks away from the inner sanctum! i coulda walked it, but there is a freeway in the way.
i dont understand the concept of people complaining about wal-mart!? them people working in there are the nicest people and helpful too! i lose focus in a giant store like that rather easily, but i had the wal-mart circular in hand, and determined to get ONLY what i came in for, so i asked an employee where the computer desk was. and i was given a smile and the proper directions!
i was in and outta there in 10 minutes, and the computer desk only cost 25 bucks, tax included!

so, i get it home, and commenced to putting it together, which only took about 1/2 an hour, then the real test came; will it HOLD the computer and all its stuff? or will it collapse under the great weight of the behemoth?

DRUMROLL, PLEASE................

TA DA!!! SUCCESS!!! heheheeee!

it works! now my lil house of clutter is more organised!!

so, having achieved roaring success, i embarked on another shopping spree, which only consisted of going to several shoppes in the neighbourhood, and buying assorted gifts for chaosdaily cause it was her birthday, and she is a pal! and finally, a trip to post office, to mail the stuff, and off to the cigarette store to get my monthly supply of smoking items to go with my morning coffee! all in all it was a roaring success!!

Thats all the news from lake salt and pepper, where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and the children are above average!

hava slap-happy day!
