Once again evil qwest tryed to stick it to me, but i got em! so this months bill came, and it was 85 bucks and change. it was correct for once; and i thought it over for a few days, and decided to call the evil qwest and find out when they were going to apply the credit. after reminding the evil qwest of our last conversation, they said that they will apply the credit, and now this months bill i have a 7 buck and change credit, which means, i dont pay em any shiny nickles this month! moral of the story: check ya bill, know what ya supposed to pay! dont just pay ya bill willy-nilly! every buck counts! Wal-Mart folllies: In the news here recently, my favourite store, Wal-Mart, was caught RED HANDED overcharging too much sales tax! the sales tax here is 6.6% NOT 7.6%!! Wal-Mart was unaware that their price scanners was working hard charging people that extra 1%!!! and so, they made it right with everbody that shops there, just show em ya reciept, and you will get ya 1% refund. Yesterday, I went there to get some stuff, when i seen a box of steaks on sale for 8.98 for 8 of em!! wow! so, i scooped up a box, paid for that and udder stuff, and went out to go get the bus. when i went out the door, i decided to hava smoke, also, i remembered what the news said about them the udder day, so i decided to check my reciept. the 6.6% was there, ok, but the price scanner showed that i paid 13.25 for the box of steaks!!! again, after much thought, (i have to stop and think before engaging the vocal cords so i wont yell!!) i went back inside, and tole the customer service person, that the scanner was working overtime again! so we went to the meat section, and lo and behold, there was the sign prominately displayed, "8.98"! so i got a cheerful refund and lots of i'm sorry's!! Moral of this tale, Check ya reciepts! make sure ya not gettin ripped off!! yesterday, i tole ya about the moocher wacking the kid for sneakin up on him and sayin "boo". well i got GOOD NEWS the kid went to doyle the manager yesterday morning, and tole him that he aint pressing charges, but since the stupid kid called the cop, doyle had to tell the office, and common sense ensued there, as the moocher will not get fired for wackin the kid, but, was given a stern warning, not to be wackin anybody! and all is well once again here in the happy hollow!! weather forcast: rain, snow, cold, sun, snow, wind, rain, sun! ya wont believe what i found in the library! hehheeheeee..... i got a VCR movie: SUPERMAN vs. THE MOLE MEN! i aint seen this movie in 30 years!! boy, its gonna be fun watchin good ole graveyard dead george reeves puttin his hands on his hips and puffin out his chest and fighting the mole men! for those of you who are old enuff to remember, this movie served as the pilot of the tv show, the adventures of superman, (1951) !!! life is good, when ya all nice and toasty, can fight the evil fone company and win, have ultra- hi speed innernet, elvis radio, and top it off with superman and the mole men!!!! what a difference a YEAR makes! LAST YEAR at this time, i was sleepin in the shelter in san francisco, luggin my junk all around town, and today, i got all my junk in a closet, payin rent and bills, and feelin pretty good! Recently, I switched from the Evil Rip-off Qwest to AT&T for my Innernet! and for 39.99 i get 3,000 kbps instead of 49.99 or however much qwest thought they could get away with charging me for 1,500 kbps!
last month, my bill was 135 bucks and some change, and i pitched a bitch! so the person i was pissing at from evil qwest agreed with me and tole me that they will credit me 92 bucks, but the credit wont appear til next months bill. so i paid the bill, and said ok, this better happen, or else!
NEWS UPDATE!
thats what i had to put up with yesterday! when i woke up, there was 3 " of snow and counting on the ground, so i ate breakfast, and went back to sleep. woke up at NOON! the snow was gone, and mr. sun was out, melted all traces of snow, so i decided to drink some coffee and get my lazy ass down to the library with the overdue stuff and get more stuff!
when i finally got out the door, and hour later, it was raining and windy, mr sun was playin peek a boo in the clouds, and when i got to the library, it was snowin again! when i came out to goto wal-mart, it was just windy and cold, sun was still hiding in the clouds. when i got out of wal mart, mr sun was again prominately displayed in the sky (whats that bright thing in the sky?) and all was well!!!
i wonder how much longer this can last.......
