Coast Guard intercepts Cubans in floating taxi
MIAMI - A vintage blue taxicab converted into a seagoing vessel and carrying several Cuban immigrants was intercepted Tuesday off Key West by the Coast Guard, a television station reported.
Footage from NBC-6 in Miami showed Coast Guard officers boarding the blue vehicle, which had been modified with a boat prow in front and appeared to have at least four immigrants aboard.
The Coast Guard declined to comment. �Under U.S. government policy, we cannot discuss migrant interdiction operations until disposition is complete,� said Petty Officer Sandra Bartlett. That process often takes days, she said.
Under U.S. immigration policy, Cubans who reach U.S. shores generally are allowed to stay while those caught at sea are usually returned.
I wonder if it was a metered fare or did they have a flat rate?
I like Cubans, when they come here, they keep their asses in florida, they dont generally roam around the country, stealing real americans jobs, and destroying the U.S. economy! They actually CONTRIBUTE to American society, and they fight to try to free Cuba from that bass-tid castro, and when he croaks, their wish is to RETURN to Cuba!!

we have a "border patrol" but under orders from washington, these agents are not allowed to enforce U.S. law when it comes to mexicans, per order of the justice department!
Oh, every now and then, they show us on tee-vee news that they catch these roaches, and then bus them back across the border, where the same roaches come back across the next day! its just a game, thats all.
and thanks to president bush, within 20 years, this great country will be destroyed by this infestation. you just sit back and watch!

HEYA, I was in a lil gloomy o woe is me mood yesterday, and im sorry that i said i felt like no one reads this. i just want y'all to know that its not a requirement to comment here, and i realise that you guys are busy, and dont have time, and i was a jerk to even give the false impression that you must comment here! so, when i get bitchy like that, just gimme a crack across the jaw, and i will wake up! heheheee!!! sometimes, it sucks being me!
I have been as of TODAY, exactly one year here in the land of morman, and i aint been converted yet! hell, i aint even been apporached!!! when i got here, i stayed at the mission for 2 weeks, then waited for check day in the shelter, then, on a whim, towards the end of june, i applied here for a room to rent. i had no intention on staying, but once i got moved in here, i liked the idea that i can take a nap anytime i wanted to, and that i didnt have to roam around aimlessly if i didnt want to! this place continues to be nice, and i actually make a contribution here!!! i was tired, and i liked it so much i decided to re-tire!! heheheheee!!
not much has been going on here lately, just tee-vee watching and pogo playing and chatting on yahoo. yesterday, i got a deal from jason, he sold me a giant GE Microwave for 50 bucks!!
