people unclear of the concept!
some people are unclear on the concept!
rent is due on the 1st of the month, and ya got until the 5th to pay it~on the 6th of the month, if its not paid, you get charged a 50 dollar late fee AND you get a wonderful 3 day notice to vacate due to the fact that you are to stupid to realise that the rent is due!

yesterday afternoon, this guy comes bounding down the stairs, and the look on his face was priceless!! he had gotten his 3 day notice ot vacate and didnt know what was what! major anxiety had set in for him, and his face was skewered in the panic stricken, his hair was disheveled, and he was complaining to ME that he had ONE MORE DAY to pay the rent!!!

i explained to him so that even a 4 year old can understand~

repeat after me: rent is DUE on the 1st of the month! you have until the 5th of the month to pay it! if its not paid by the 5th, on the 6th day you get a 50 dollar late fee, and a 3 day notice to vacate, which means MOVEOUT!! UNLESS you pay the rent before the 3 days is up!!

"well, i have a money order for 265 in my room somewheres, i just cant find it!!"

i sez to idiot: "you owe 315, 50 dollar late fee"

"doyle told me i have 5 days to pay the rent, i got until tomorrow"

i sez to idiot: "no, repeat after me: rent is due on the 1st........."

"well, what if i give you the 265 now?"

i sez to idiot: "you owe 315, 50 dollar late fee."

"i dont have the 265, i had a money order, and i cant find it"

i sez to idiot, "well you better CALL someone"

"can i talk to doyle?"

i sez to idiot, "doyle isnt here, thats why i'm here and you have until tonight to get the rent"

"but i have 5 days to pay the rent, why do i have this?" (waves 3 day notice around)

repeat after me: RENT is due on the 1st............

"do you take credit cards?"

i sez to idiot, "you KNOW its money orders only"

"can i talk to doyle? he sez i have 5 days to pay the rent"

sigh........

he called someone and bolted out the door, and 2 hours later, he came back with the money order for 315. by that time, doyle had returned from the office.

phone call i got yesterday from a tenant from aspenview, which is another apt complex doyle manages....

"afternoon, rio grande hotel"

manic sounding female: is doyle there?

i sez: no, doyle is out of the office, can i help you?

manic: is he eating lunch?

me: no, doyle is not here, maybe i can help you, who is this?

manic: can i talk to doyle?

me: he is not here, how can i help you? i can take your name and number and have him call you back when he returns.

manic: i REALLY need to talk to doyle. is he eating lunch?

this went on for a few more minutes like that, then i hung up.

jason came in all inna huff:

some tramp is in the park, and has my bike (his bike got stole a few months back)

well i sez call the cops!

he sez, whats the number?

911

so, he calls the 7 digit police dispatch number instead of 911 and tells them whats what!

i told him that by the time the cops come, the tramp and his bike will be gone!

sure enuff 45 minutes later, the cop comes, and they went to the park, and the tramp and bike are gone! the cop told him, next time you see him, call us and hold him there.

ya, right!

so, doyle calls and sez that mark the maintenence guy will be by with A/C's for everyone who dont have one, if i want one, pull yours out and hide it! ok, so i pull my A/c out and wait....

awhile later doyle comes back, and sez that mark is an idiot, and he aint taking his shit, mark wants to bring one A/C and bring it to each room to see if it will work in all the rooms!! (we have 50 rooms)

doyle sez that he had better bring them A/C's here and stop fucking around! i told doyle that mark is just too friggen lazy to bring the A/C's here.

we are supposed to get em here today.
