journalcon!!
here we are in san diego!! yesterday, me, chaosdaily, and poolagirl had a mouth-watering breakfast, then we went to the world famous san diego zoo!! the place is huge, and it dont cost as much as you might think!! for just 20 bux, american, they let you run ramshod all over the place, unsupervised even!! there are animals there that i have never in my life seen before; along with the traditional animals that you would see in a regular zoo! and we did more walking than the law allowed!! after just 3 hours there, we only covered a third of the joint!! they have a super massager for your feet for just 25c, and it was powerful!! so, since my back was sreaming in pain from all the walking i did, i decided to see how it would be if i SAT on the massager!!! woo!!! the massager did its job, soothing the pain real well, and a pic of me sitting on this thing was taken!!
dumbass here, (namely, me) forgot my cord for the camera, so any pics i took will be seen here when i get home!
then, we had a very tasty chinese food lunch at this trendy resturant, where the food want at all greasy, and the chicken was ACTUALLY chicken, and not cat and dog like at most chinese resturants you may attend!!
later on, we went shopping for coffee and chocolate at trader joes. they dont have trader joes in salt lake city. (they dont have anything in slc!) it was swell!! i miss the place, i used to get food all the time from trader joes. poola reccomended this coffee and i bought a huge can of it!!
so then we went to point loma for the afternoon, where we had a magnificent view of the harbour, and right directly across was the seal traing base, where the navy trains sailors to become seals! thats why you see so many seals on the docks up in san francisco, cause when they retire, they go there to lay around, or at sea world, where they swim and jump for the crowds!!!
im getting off track here! we sat and took in the sun, and one guy who claimed to be some kind of professor came by with his dogs, and chatted with poola and chaos, mainly telling them that he has an ex wifey, and was interested in what we were doing!! hehehe!!!
so then later on, we went to starbux, and got mochas, and found mom-on-roof who rented a shiny car with her pal, dar!! and then we went to little italy. in little italy, they have banners of the "good" italians, like mario cuomo. none were found of my boyhood heros, like vito genovese, and raymond patricia, or even john gotti!! why the nerve of them!!
well, we went into this hi class italian resturant, were we had massive amounts of food!!! ya shudda seen the plates!!! i got the lasanga, with meat ball and sausage!! and the sauce!! woo!! i can put the food away, folks, but ya know this was a little too much!!! there was enough food on my plate alone to feed the homeless back home at the mission!!! and only 58 bux for the 5 of us!! remarkable!! and its a good thing we got there early!! when we left, there was a line out the door and down the street!!!
we arrived at poolas home about 8 pm, and i was tuckered out, with tucker and sophi at my feet, i lapsed into unconciousness!!
so, today starts the offical beginning of journal con! we will go this morning and meet poolas big sister, and has a massive breakfast, and gossip. then we will desend upon journal con and meet some udder folks like us, and see what happens next!!
i know that i sez i wasnt gonna update while i was here, but i lied!!
