05:55 - Friday, Nov. 18, 2005 i think i found some dry cat food that mr. fussy cat will eat! i got a bag of friskies dry food, since he likes the friskies can food, but i think he needs the dry food. i started him in on it last night, and he went right to it, munch munch munch!! then he would lay down, and a few minutes later, he would suddenly pop his head up like he got startled or something, then run over to his bowl, and munch munch munch!! so he will eat this for a while. i swear, and i know i said this before, but i dont understand why this cat lays down i figure on the average 15-20 hours a day!! flop right on the floor!! he does like to flop in the cushy chair, and he continues to wake me up at 3 am, then i feed him he eats then flops on the floor. im trying not to panic. i checked my social security status online and i found out that my benefits have been terminated. so thats that. i aint gonna appeal, i been dependent on this for a long time, and its time to cut the cord so to speak. problem is that i have no confidence right now in finding a job. and i have to get off my ass. i got paid today, i already got my rent check for december, i got that saved from the beginning of the month, so here we go. i will have to find something i can do part time. so, starting today, i will feel like i will be living on the edge. and i feel trapped right now. so, time to ride this out and see what happens. one day at a time. i have decided to do podcasts on mondays. so, i have a link up above that says podcast. just click on that, and your media player will open. i was sitting in the bathtub yesterday when the cat came in, and he was looking. then he jumped up on his hind legs, and balanced himself on his hind legs for about 20 seconds!! looking at me in the tub full of water!!! oh, i wish i had my camera!! heres some news snippets: Stuff on Floor LODI, NJ-The moist, brownish pile on the Gehrke living room floor is either cat food or cat shit, it was reported wednesday. "if i had to guess, i'd say its cat food," said linda gehrke, 44, staring at the mystery heap. " but, the way oscars been digesting lately, cat shit is definately a possibility too." though a long shot, gehrke noted that it could aso be cat vomit. whatever it is, she said, it came from the cat. House GOP leaders engineer budget plan win!
But intra-party tensions are sure to flare again when negotiations begin next month on a House-Senate compromise measure. Differences over opening an Arctic wilderness to oil drilling promise to be difficult if not impossible to resolve. Still, House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., and Acting Majority Leader Roy Blunt, R-Mo., were buoyant if exhausted after sweating out a big victory on the budget cut bill. After all, they had just salvaged at least for the moment a major pillar of their agenda despite divisions within the party and nervousness among moderates that the vote could cost them in next years elections. The bill, passed 217-215 after a 25-minute-long roll call, makes modest but politically painful cuts across an array of programs for the poor, students and farmers. heres my friday five: 1) what is one thing that you hate? ok, your turn!! time for eggs and coffee!! |
