1st full day of winter, its 50 degrees!!!

im gonna be working the day before crispness which is saturday, from 9 am to 1 am!! then a lovely 15 buck cab ride home!
why am i calling christmas 'crispness'? because i feel like it, just trying to be funny. so dont get mad, ok?
well, THE CAT dont like lamb and rice. aint that nice?
there aint gonna be any white christmas here this year, in fact, its gonna be 50 degrees!
and as for "christmas dinner" goes, i am 7 miles from downdown, and the busses aint gonna be running, so i will have "christmas dinner" here at home. no free christmas dinner this year! my, oh my! what a concept!

i have decided that after 37 years of smoking cigarettes, im gonna retire from this activity on january 1st. oh this is gonna be fun.
i remember munich in 1972 and the terrorists that murdered the israeli athletes. i saw it on tee vee. live and in black and white. and i recall later on how the israeli army didnt mess around, and killed all the terrorists in entebbe. and innocent civilians got killed in the process, and no one bitched and moaned about it back then. not like today. so, im gonna see the movie 'munich' and see how accurate it will be.

back early on in my hitch hiking career, i hitch hiked at night, and if i got tired, i just fell asleep on the side of the road; somehow thinking that i was in a "safety area" and just because i was on the shoulder and there was a solid white stripe separating the highway from the side of the road, that it was ok, cause the white line 'protected' me and cars were not allowed to cross the line! looking back on this, how friggen stupid was that? im a lucky bass-tid that i didnt get run over while i was sleeping, i tell ya! 'safety zone'!! what a maroon!!!
well, today will consist of cleaning and foodie shopping. and playing pogo. not much else going on. ho-hum. yawn. borrrriiiing!!
im still depressed, even though i may not act like it. i just have to keep busy and occupied. it happens.
most exciting thing that happened in the past 24 hours?
last evening, the cat jumped up on the window sill, took ONE LOOK outside, seen a big truck roar by, and jumped right off, lasting only MAYBE 2 seconds, and ran like hell into the bathroom, opened the cabinet in one paw swipe, and jumped inside under the sink, and refused to come out!! so i left him in there for a time, and then he came out.
what a scaredy cat!
