the adventures of yesterday!
yesterday was shopping day!!
retail therapy, good for what ails ya! and yesterday, i was a bit hypersensitive.
i started out the day yesterday all wrong, 1st, i woke up late. seems like the past week, i been sleeping alot. which is ok i guess, after all, where in the rules does it say that i MUST get up at 3:30 am?
anyhoo, after coffee and that initial smoke, i turned it on good ole CNN for a change. it was late, imus in the morning was over, so hence, CNN.
they were talking about those poor miners who died in west virginia, and they were talking about some recording those miners made, talking about how they are allright, and they were just going to sleep.
THAT i refused to deal with!! I didnt wanna hear that!! oh, fuck no!
that struck a nerve in my pea-brain, and i shut off the tee-vee. i then went back to bed and had a good cry; thinking about all the death and destruction that has taken place in the past few days, i just could not deal with it. so i left reality for a while, and thought back to the days when we thought the government could do no wrong and we didnt question it.
but after a while, the doorbell rang. it was the fed-ex guy with a package for me! this is what he gave me!! i bought it from woot.com the other day!!
its a toaster with a breadbox attached! what will they think of next!
so, now i was feeling a little better, but, looking at creamsicles feeding area, i seen that he was running outta catfood!! oh gad!! cant let THAT happen! so, off i go to COSTCO to shop like its 1966!! hahaa!!
while i go shopping, you can look at creamsicle here and what he did while i was gone!
ok, so i went to costco, and got some food contained in mass quantities! and some sox, cause i just go thru them like carters got liver pills, and some tee shirts, and i was on the way over to the cigarette cage, when i saw this:
i stopped, remembering that i did wanna quit smoking, so, i grabbed it, and gave it the once over. then i seen the price, $54.00!!!
$54.00!! oh hell no!! but wait! the pea-brain went to work, theres 21 of these, now, lets see, thats 1 a day, like the vitamin, and theres 10 packs of smokes inna carton, so... HEY! thats cheaper than 2 cartons!
sold! american!
so i still have about 8 cigarettes to finish up today, and later on, im gonna start in on the patches! this aughta be fun!!
now, when i got home, i got a ring from the mailman, he had a package for me. ??? i wasnt expecting anything!! so i goto the front and there is a nicely, professionally wrapped package from my pal, chaosdaily!! what on earth could it be? then, i recalled that i mentioned to her that i would like some of those yummy cookies she bakes, oh, man!! i was just kidding about that!!
so, i take it back in, and open it and this is what i got!!
its coffeetime!!!!! thanky yous, chocolate chaos!!! wheeeeeee!!!
i have removed the music for a day, i have a suprise coming!
