oh jeez!!!!!
the following drivel contains unnecessary drunken violence, parental discretion is advised.....
well. yesterday morning the fone rang, it was doyle as usual, asking me to come into work; and, after agreeing, cause after all, when doyle calls and wants me to work, i just drop everything and get to it, cos i need the hours. im greedy needy like that. i usually blab with doyle for a few minutes before i hang up and go, but yesterday morning, doyle cut me off short, tersely telling me that he needed me there ASAP, cos he had to take moocher to the clinic. oh, hes sick again i sez, and he just told me to hurry up and get there. looking at the clock, i told him 45 minutes. so i rushed out the door in time to catch the bus.
so, i get there, and see moocher on his perch out front, as usual, smoking a cigarette. we have an ash tray that he sits on out front, ergo, "his perch".
so, i sez to him, whatsa matter u sick again? of which he replied, " i got beat up!" i look at him, 1st thinking that he was pulling my leg, but no, true facts, he got a 2nd class beating!
one of the tenants at the rio grande who moocher has been pissing off over time, came home drunk around midnight, and asked moocher if he can use the office fone to call for a pizza, saying that his cell fone dont work. now, we dont allow the tenants to use the office fone, except for emergencies, and moocher having no social skills or tact at all, told him in no uncertain terms, that he cannot use the office fone, and told him to goto his room, being drunk and all.
well, this guy goes to his room, and a few minutes later comes back to the office, and words were exchanged. he then went back to his room.
so, a few minutes later, he comes back to the office, goes inside, and starts wailing on the moocher, now, moocher is grrosly overweight, has medical problems, a big mouth, and mainly pretty much old and defenseless. and this guy is just wailing on him for a minute or so, then puts his fist thru the office window, and goes back to his room.
well, now, doyle comes out, and the cops is called. the drunken idiot was arrested, and is taken to jail. moocher came out of it all with just aches and pains. when i came in, doyle took him to the clinic, and he will be ok.
when the cops came to get this drunk, he tryed to fight the cops, to no avail. they just gave him a good whack in the shoulder with the baton! and that was that!
i told doyle that this drunk best not come around at all if i am there, because i will give him a 1st class beating, mob style, and crack his head wide open. i am very angry about this. moocher may be an irritant at times, but overall, he aint that bad a guy. hes old and defenseless. just has a mouth, and no tact in dealing with people. but, thats no excuse.
yesterday was pretty busy at work. doyle taught me how to do the paperwork for new tenants that move in, which was great to learn!! i like doing stuff like that.
channel 4 news came by and took pics of the broken window, and i told them what happened. (oops!) hehehe.
when doyle came back from the main office, i told him channel 4 was there, and i told them what happened. i didnt see the harm in it. well, seems that i shouldnt have said anything to them, but i didnt know. now, doyle aint mad at me for this, just he explained to me that because of the shady past of the hotel, and being in the neighbourhood of scumshits, when something like this happens, and the media comes along, that i should tell em no comment. ok. whatever.
when i came home last night, there was a 30 second snippet on the channel 4 news about what happened. it was overshadowed by a poor fellow who was a indian minding his business at the stadium trax station, who recieved a 1st class beating from 2 punks for no good reason at all, save for the fact that he was a indian, and the cops caught these punks down the street soon afterwards. i hope they get whats coming to them too.
well, folks, its time to see what today brings. i dont like violence at all, especially when its geared toward people who cannot defend themselves. that is just plain wrong.
moocher will be ok.
