watch 24 last night? that president is in on it!!! talk about shock and awe!!!
well, im shocked and in awe!!! and i would have said that the veep was in on it!!!
this is what i like about 24, they always leave ya with a cliffhanger that leaves ya saying dang!!! or oh no!! what the hell is gonna happen now?? jack believes the veep is in on it, and if he goes to the president with that... oops!
and what about CTU being "absorbed" by homeland security? the whole premise of CTU is that it is a part of the dept. of defence, so, in that context, how can it be "absorbed" by homeland security? me thinks i see a boo boo heer!!!
Law & Order, special victims unit. tonight, olivia gets her throat slashed!!! well, i guess thats how shes gonna go for a while. shes belly hi pregnant in real life ya know!! so i guess this is the way shes gonna be off the show for a while, like when det. green got shot, and he was doing a movie at the time. true facts!! did you know that Mariska Hargitay is Jayne Mansfield's daughter? if ya scratchin ya head sayin "whos Jayne Mansfield?" go and google her. google knows all!! she was a blonde haired big tittyed woman back in the late 50's and early 60's version of paris hilton. a drunk, and little talent, she died in a car crash oh around 1965 or so. she was supposed to be marlyn monroe's (anutter blonde haired big tittyed woman with no talent) "replacement" when she croaked.
once again we have a rent saga here at chez aspenview!!! one of the tenants here came to me sunday, and told me hes 35 bucks short on the rent, and gave me some cock and bull story about casinos and atm machines, and how he pressed 200 instead of 20....la de la de lade da... i told him that he has until the 5th to pay his rent, and do the best he can about getting the money together. this guy has the housing authority payin half his rent!!!
so, i told doyle about it who, by the way had to quit smoking cause his blood pressure has hit the roof and is going haywire, and is not in the best of moods, but hes trying, 5 days without smoking, and he said that if this clown dont come up with the rent on the 5th, hes tossing his ass out, and i told that to the idiot, and he tole me that if i give him a 3 day notice, hes taking it to court!!! (these people never learn)
and the drunken idiot who always has some rent drama every month, and doyle been cutting him some slack, well, no more. i seen him yesterday, and he said that his check is at his brothers in odgen, and hes goin up there to get it. i told him that if he dont pay by the 5th, hes going bye bye too!! and i think he will come in on time, hes scared of getting tossed on his ass.
and finally, one of the good tenants, who usually pays the rent a few days early, well, i coulda sworn under penalty of perjury that she paid her rent last week, and i was sweating bullets all weekend about it. friday, i got the new shredder from woot, and went shredder happy, and i was thinking, aw shit, i cant find her rent check, i bet i accidently shredded it!!! oh fuck a duck!!
so, yesterday morning, i swallowed the lump in my throat and told doyle, i said, did i give you so and so's rent check? and he said, no, why? and i told him what i thought. and he just calmly smiled and said well why dontcha go ask her. so i did, i sez, ok be honest now, did you gimme a rent check last week, and she said no. rather matter of factly, and i believed her and she asked why, and i told her what i was thinking, and we all had a good laugh. but if it was true what i was thinking, i'd been really screwed!! i put all the rent checks in ONE spot, just so i wont lose them!! cause i suffer from old timers, and i forget.
big sigh.
so with yesterdays fiasco with the puter here, i had no time to do anything yesterday.
