well, as you prolly know, i gave a "3 day nuisance notice" to kenny the drunk on friday, and he informs me that he will be out of his apartment by 9 am today! good. he done it the easy way, he could have just stayed, then we would have had to goto the lawyers, but i told him on friday, that if he dont leave by monday, we will goto the lawyers, and it will cost him an additional $400 bux, and also, if he aint out by the end of business on monday, he will be escorted off by the sheriff.
a lil embellishment there, folks, but it worked.
on saturday, there was the italian festival downtown, right in front of the rio grande, effectively blocking our street. doyle the manager dont like this, and its just ONE DAY, and no incidents occurred, because before the setup, the cops came by the neighbourhood, and swooped up all the mongrels, and took them away! there was an italian car show, italian songs sung, including an italian opera singer, whom sang her purty lil heart out!! and of course the hi priced foodies that was had by all, except me, i was not gonna pay 7 bux for a sausage sammich that was no bigger than a regular hot dog, nor 5 bux for a small slice of cardboard looking pizza. they bought cans of soda from costco, at the bulk rate of 12 cents a piece, and reselling them for a buck! whatta country! god bless them!
on sunday, football on the NFL channel, and cleaning of the cave, and sleeping occurred. cosmo, zippers brother from the same mother, came by for an afternoon visit, and they played for a while, then they took their naps.
today, is food bank day, where the food bank will come by and drop off small itens of foodies for all of us, and i will distribute amonst the folks here, this occurs every 2 weeks, and it helps. also, the parking lot is scheduled to be resurfaced today, which means that the parking lot will be closed down for a few days, while this is done, and then it has to set.
cross ya fingers i get more hours this week.
