its tuesday again!!! dang! how many more tuesdays do we have to go thru before we get it right?? heheheheee!!!!
now, let me see....
well, the jig is up for moocher and his calling in sick when he aint sick dealie.
the way it works for him is that he would call in sick on friday nights; ever since he let a drunk beat the shit outta him, the poor bastard lost his nerve, and he dont wanna work friday nights anymore; anyhoo, he call in friday nights, ask me to work his shift for him, 16 hours; 4 pm to 8 am sat morn; then he come in and work my sat shift; 8am to 4pm, and he would get paid for the 16 he didnt work plus the 8 that he done for me. as for me, i get just the 16 hours. i dont get sick time, im just a part timer. i get breadcrumbs. BUT, like i sez, the jig is up. we got a new payroll gal, and the old one either didnt notice this, or didnt care. you cant call in sick, then not be sick. and expect to get sick time for it. doyle realised what he was doing, and he tole me that what i aughta do is just work the friday nights and let moocher work saturday days. that way, i get 8 more hours. i may do that. as for this friday, i am working it for doyle 8 to 4, so i cannot work moochers friday night for him.
so, whatta think of the gubbermint using you tube for thier corny "anti-drug" messages? it dont cost the taxpayers anything, as you tube is a free service, but still, i think that the gubbermint should stop trying to give their anti drug messages by trying to act "hip" about it. its stupid and corny, and just makes the young ones laugh.
well, since i have to work for doyle friday, i was going to goto the animal shelter to get zipper a cheap clipping, but, thats gonna have to wait. he aint spraying yet, and maybe i should wait til he does start spraying?? i dunno. right now, he is looking at the monitor as im typing and trying to catch the cursor as it moves across the screen.
i will do some cleaning today. the dishes have to get done, and all that. not much else going on around here, just sitting and waiting. sometimes i wish i had a regular full time job to goto, but, i am thankful for what i have. i been working for doyle almost 2 years now, and its been a mighty long time since i had a job that i actually stuck with for this long. i no longer have the urge to travel like i once did, as i am rooted into this place big time, like a giant tree rooted into the ground. payday is tomorrow, and food shopping and bill paying will be in order. most of the time, these days i lead a rather boring life, but ya know, thats ok. its a life that is way better than what i was doing before i got here, and i can sleep peacefully these days. i would rather have a sink ful of dishes, and a pile of dirty laundry than be dragging my ass thru the streets at all hours of the day and night, and in all kinds of weather.
