Turkish president will 'set Pope straight during visit
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan today called Pope Benedict XVI�s expression of regret over his remarks on Islam �manoeuvres� and said the Turkish president would set him straight during his visit next month.
Benedict has expressed regret for offending Muslims by his remarks and has met with Muslim ambassadors to try and end the anger in the Islamic world.
Erdogan, responding to a question at a economics seminar, said the pope had made some manoeuvres� since the remarks on September 12.

there seems to be a rash of this crap going on lately; you recieve a fone call, and if ya like most folks, you have caller ID, and it sez that your bank is calling, or its ya credit card company calling, and you answer it, and they say someting like:
"this is american express calling, and we noticed unusual activity on your card......can you confirm your account number and pin with us?
DONT DO THIS!!! HANG UP THE FONE!!!! ITS A SCAM!!!!
this is called caller ID spoofing and its all the rage among criminals who prey upon stoopid people!!! they have a device that they use to make it appear that when they call you that its from your bank or card company.
now, think about this for a sec, ok?
1st off, your bank will NOT be calling you asking for your account number!!! if its truly your bank, they know what your account number is!! same with ya card company!!!
2nd then, your financial institutions will NEVER EVER as you for ya pin number!!! they dont need that!!! think about that!!!
now, if "your bank or card company" happens to call, hang up and call them and ask them if they just called you, 100% of the time, when you do this, they will tell you that they didnt call you!!!!
CITIBANK called me yesterday! and wanted my info. i responded like this:
hey you dumb fuck, i dont hava citibank account, never had, never will!! and i hung up! heheheheee.
but seriously, folks. dont let the scammers scam you!!!
