Death of D. Monitor
Salt Lake City, UT (Reuters) - D. Computer Monitor, was found slumped over suddenly at the offices of Who Did It and Ran, Ink, at 5:30 this morning, local time, dead of apparent heart failure, he was 8 years old.
Little is known of Mr. Monitor, as he apparently travelled extensively throught the United States, and was adopted by the good folks of Who Did It and Ran, Ink, a computer storytelling firm.
He was in apparent good health, as determined by his last physical back in october of this year, at that time he showed no signs of a heart condition, and was cleared for 24 hour service.
"We are in a state of shock" chief spokesman acaldwell stated to this reporter when asked about the incident. "I had just came into the office at 4:30 am, and started to make the coffee, when all of a sudden, i heard a crash, and the cat ran like hell outta the office area." Mr. acaldwell said.
"I went into the office, and found Mr. Monitor slumped over, his screen black, i attemped CPR, but to no avail. it was too late." Mr. acaldwell stated.
The authorities were called in, and the cat was questioned, but he was released when it was determined by investigators that Mr. Monitor succumbed through no fault of the cat. The cat had no comment to this reporter when questioned, on advice of his attorney. no charges were filed in the case.
Funeral Arraingements were pending at this time. Mr. Monitor had no living known relatives.
