day 10 is upon me!

ok, so im all outta chocolate sauce, we will have to settle for caramel instead!
day 10 of the mad scientist experiment smoking study!! that means, day 3 of no smoking!! however, the patches so far have nicotine in them, and although i have had no physical cravings, i have had moments where i wanted to go "AGGGGGG"!!!!
they got another guy in here to so the smoking study, and yesterday was day 1 for him. hes 58 and loves smoking!! and the cigs are prominately displayed on the counter of the nurses station. heres where the stinking thinking and the disipline and the incentives kick in;
stinking thinking: i walk by the nurses station, and with lightning speed, swipe a cig outta the pack with no one noticing...
disipline and incentives: well, if i do that, then when i blow into the CO meter, it will read at least a 45, and then they will know that i have had a smoke!! and probabaly be tossed outta here!! im at 1000 bux already and just a week and a half to go for the grand prize of $2400 bux! nope! not gonna do it!!
last night at the 8 pm CO testing, i blew a ONE!! hows that for not smoking!
although right now, i just got weighed and im at 226; YIKES! i didnt get to go outside yesterday, every one was busy; theres a guy doing a liver study, and hes been here a coupla days, and i got a roomie for 3 days he is hiv positive, and a cocaine addict and they are looking for people like him to study to find out the probibility of those folks coming down with the diabetes, so, he will be getting blood draws, and apparently, recently he was in a fire of some kind, as he has burns on his legs and arms. but, hes sober (a requirement) and only here for 3 days. then, i noticed an elderly black woman come in here last night, and her door is always closed. so i dont know what she is here for or for how long.

im just a tad nervous, and i believe that is just from not smoking. i keep cheerful thoughts, and try to walk up and down the halls as much as i can stand!
the combo of prune juice and benefiber drinks and i had a BM yesterday, and i felt better, but im wondering if im still constipated. i need a real laxative. what i really need is to be patient! my body is going thru some harsh changes, and all will fall into place in due time. its only been 3 days since my last cigarette, and my system needs time to adjust. hopefully, there will be time today for me to take a walk outside. and im gonna use the stairs instead of the elevator.
