SEATTLE!!!! a mighty long post-toastie!!!

trip to seattle!
well, i have left san francisco with the help of amtrak guest rewards points (5500!) and off to seattle, to find my fame and fortune up there!! haha!! sooo, heres what sparked this alleged 'spur of the moment' trip!
i got a coupla emails for interviews up in seattle, which is MORE than i can say for san francisco! 2 months there and no interviews!!! i know i spent 3 weeks of the 2 months in hospital doing the study, and whilst there, i was online applying for jobs, and leaving contact info, and got no response.
however, just utilising the washington state job service website for one day, netted me 3 job offers, one of which i declined, as they insisted on performing a credit check. thats none of thier business, and i dont give a crap if 'a lot of places do this now' thats bull. im applying for a JOB not a BANK LOAN!
the other 2 i got were from mariott and hilton, one is for what they call a 'steward' which is fancy speak for 'dishwasher'; and the other one is for prep cook. so, after much procrastinating, i cashed in my points and taking the plunge up to seattle! i know when i get there, i will have ample oppurtunity to find something, when i was on the job service site the other day, i found 80 food service jobs!! EIGHTY!!! and get a load of this, according to a program i seen on sfgov tee vee, 'there is a high demand for cooks in the bay area' yeah, where? mc donalds? burgerking? or maybe, carls, jr?? what a crock!
im being a lil cynical, cause im fed up. i need a job and i need it yesterday. (its the economy, stupid) meh!
i cant give up faith, or hope. i will figgure something out, i always do! seattle is just as good as san francisco, the difference is that folks there dont have they head up thier asses like they do in san francisco; bindyree and onewetleg are the ONLY exception to that synopsis, they are loverly women, and a pleasure to be around. im gonna miss seeing them, but hey you guys, if ya want, tune into yahoo messenger and when im online there, i can turn on my eye spy brand mini cam, which takes crystal clear pics, and you can see me live, and not taped before a studio audience!!!
well, its wednesday morning, and i left my coffee in the train bathroom!!! yeeeeeeee!! im in klamath falls, and we will be here for 2 hours, cause they are working on the tracks north of here, and so i will be sitting here twittling my thumbs, as there is no innernet access wifi here!! i guess k-falls lives in the dark ages still.
i lived here for a lil while about 6 years ago, maybe? it was during the holidays, and snow was abundant, and i was able to get some dial up at the time, and i paid 200 a month for a room that had mold innit, was down in the basement, and by the end of december, i was hacking up 1/2 a lung, daily and later on i realised that was cause of the mold. i suppose that if i stayed there, i'd be graveyard dead now, as i found out that mold kills!! so i got the hell outta here after the holidays. i believe that i went up to seattle then, also!!
i will be arriving in seattle sometime in the misty moonlight of tonight, i just hope that it wont be too damn late, im scheduled to be in there at 8:30 tonight, hahahahahaaa!! remember i said there is a 2 hour sit down here? that is not normal. it will be interesting to see what the dealie will be. i got a bed booked at the hostel downtown, and i hope that i will make it in time. if i happen to get in after midnight, which has happened before, i will just take my stuff and find a nice warm alley to squat in until starbux opens at 4:30AM.
yes thats right, starbux down the street from king st. station opens at 4:30 AM!!! and at 7 am i can go down to where i can get a free shower, and put on some clean clothes, and look and smell georgeous again!! shave, too!! hehe!!
well, i will write more later on, i need to charge up the battery on this loverly laptop pop!!

thursday seattle!!!
well, i made it in one piece, albeit two hours late? we had to stop in klamath falls for 2 hours yesterday morning due to "track maintenance"; and i arrived here at 10 pm right on the nose, destroying speculation that we were going to get here at midnight!! when i left seattle 4 years ago, king st. station was undergoing "renovations" and as i got off the train, i went to the station in anticipation of seeing the renovations.
renovations! HA! seems to me, all they did was PAINT the walls, put new signs up and lighting, and i was disapointed. as i got my bag o'rags, i headed out to the hostel. i got out to jackson st, and i see nothing changed, things looked the same as they did 4 years ago; i went across the street to the bus stop and it took me about 5 minutes to get my head outta muni and into king county metro and remember what bus to take, and what the bus fare is. the bus fare is the same as san francisco, $1.50, and there will be NO boarding the bus from the rear door as you can do in san francisco to avoid the fare. downtown seattle has a "free fare zone" which encompasses downtown, but after 7 pm there is no free fare zone. i got on the bus and paid my bus fare, and i went to the stop to where the hostel is located.
so, i got off the bus, and looked down the block, and started to panic! wheres the hostel?? wheres the sign?? its gone!!! fortunately, there is a bodega right there, so i went inside, and asked directions, and it turns out that the hostel had moved, its right across the street from the pike place market!!! woo hoo!!! just across the street!!
check in, the rate is 31 bux a night, plus 20 bux key deposit, this hostel is SUPER CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! AND MORE CLEAN!! FANTASTIC!!! the dorm rooms are suprisingly co-ed, as there was a chinese girl in my room, along with 6 others, the room is HUGE and the bunk beds are comfy and HUGE!! im on the top bunk, not suprisingly, and by the time i got all settled in, it was midnight, there are plugs alongside the bed so i was able to charge up my fone and laptop pop!
i slept like a ROCK! and i just woke up at 7 am!! yeee!! 7 am!!! cook yer own FREE BREAKFAST, coffee, and all the eggs and stuff you can handle!! the coffee is excellent, but im not hungry!! the shower is SUPER CLEAN, and after i post this, im headed into the shower to scub the ickyness away, and put on some clean fresh new clothes!!
finally, im going to see if i can get another night in, and eye spied a sign in the common area that the hostel is looking for HARD WORKER BEES to WORK FOR YOUR BED, im going to check into that!! check out time is 11 am, and its 8 oclock now, and i need to get going!!! I got a coupla pics i took with the eye spy web cam attached to the laptop pop here whilst we were speeding thru the woods in the peoples republic of oregon yesterday!!!
