EMPLOYED!!!! YAY!!!!
yes indeedy!!! im once again, gainfully employed!!! wheeeeeee!!!

ok heres the details!!
9 bux an hour, part time to start, and i will be "processing"!!! that is when the merchandise comes in, i will be putting it out on the floor!!! stuff like that!!! but there is a catch!
theres ALWAYS a catch!!!
the hours are 8 PM til MIDNIGHT!
yuk! but, thats all they had for right now! im going to get with my case manager at connections and we are going to put our collective heads together and figgure out what to do about where and how i will get some sleep!!
but, 1st off the bat, is orientation, thats this coming tuesday, from 9 am to 1 pm; then on thursday next is cash register training, also from 9 am to 1 pm; then, i will be ready to go!!
its a UNION JOB too!!!! GO UNION!!! YAY!!
i get an employee discount, i believe its 15%, and the pay is every friday! and the job is expected to go straight up until after new years!!! then, i will at that time, either get the perveribal seasonal axe, or, if they like me good enough, hopefully i can get on regular with them! also, theres room for MORE HOURS if i am needed!! so, theres hope here!! the interview process was fun and exciting!! heres what happened!!
there was 12 of us, and they put us in a room in chairs inna circle, and we had to fill out a questionaire, with fun filled questions like: "what makes you excited about working for macys?" to which i answered, "to be able to have an opportunity to put out a product that is pleasing to the customer, and attractive to the eye."
also, we had to individually go around in the room and introduce ourselves, and tell us a lil about yourself, and i did that, with a smile, and charm, and told about my job in utah briefly, and then we all had to pick a word outta a bowl, and briefly describe how that word would apply to you. i picked initiative; and i said that you need to take the initiative at your job, as opposed to standing about, waiting to be told what to do! and that went over fine and dandy! and when it was all done, they called us out individually, to fill out paperwork on the computer, and that was handy dandy, and then i was told about the job that i was picked to do, as the gal said that they felt that with my background, it would be a good fit, and i cheerfully accepted it!!! the hiring gal was wincing as she was telling me about the hours, and i said, no worries, no need to wince, i will take the job! and she said well, she winces cause they have been having a tuff time filling those hours! and i told her it was ok, im not fussy!! and she smiled, and that was that!!!
i got a temp employee ID card, and i will be going into the "employee entrance" haha!
at least they didnt pick me for the santa claus position!! ho ho ho!!!
well, thats all there is! now, i gotta go read up on the rest of you guys in google reader!! woo hoo!!
