happy thanksgiving!
howdee, friends!!
i will not be online tomorrow due to the busy eating schedule that i have planned for the day, also, due to the fact that nothing will be open! plays into the deciding factor also!!
whatta nerve of these people!! closing onna THURSDAY for goodness sakes!!! connections, the employment office, the library, all closed tomorrow!!! whats the big idea? what do they think this is, thanksgiving or something? come on, its not like its a sunday, even! i mean, really!! its the middle of the week, and everything is closed??? WTF is up with that?
oh, wait. one of my advisors just told me that everything will be closed cause it is THANKSGIVING! whoops!
well, so much for a rant!
THANKSGIVING, a NORTH AMERICAN tradition, dating back to the 1600's and continuing on even to this day, is a time that we all sit and devour all kinds of foodies, and gain 509 pounds in the process, and take a nap!
well, i am rambling!! hey, guess what?
i got 26 hours next week!!!
12:00P-4:00P monday
7:00A-12:00P tuesday
7:00A-12:00P wednesday
12:00P-4:00P thursday
12:00P-4:00P friday
12:00P-4:00P saturday
i will be working in what is called "start team processing" and from what i found out, basically what that is, putting the merchandise out on the floor!!!
i was scheduled for just 16, but when i went to the company website where you can "pick up shifts" i snagged 10 more!!!
it looks like a full week schedule, but remember, its just 4 hours a day!
last night, it was the same as the previous days, taking the plastic off the clothes! good, repetitive work! easy peasy!
one thing i like is that you can go at your own steady pace, and no one is breathing down yer back, cracking the whip, so to speak.
i am happy that i will be going on days, im at the point of exhaustion, for lack of sleep for more than 4 hours.
i dont know what the library schedule will be for the weekend, i hope that it will be open friday, if not, i wont be here on friday either!
forget about the innernet access at work, diaryland is blocked!!!
who in they right minds would block good ole diaryland??
so, since dland is BLOCKED at work, theres no updating there either!!
friggen holidays......always something interfering with my fun!!! sheesh!!!
