MERRY CHRISTMAS!
took a day off from innerneting yesterday, hope ya dont mind! im still alive, and keeping toasty warm, and i have not slipped slided down any hills or dales, although folks around these parts do not know how to use a shovel and shovel ice and snow, also, they dont know how to drive innit, although the metro busses do have chains!
but, the past coupla nights was movie night at the mission, as the folks who come to give the ear bangings did not show, and we were treated to a very fine movie called JOAN OF ARC a most wonderful movie, and we seen it over 2 days, and not a dry eye was to be found, and during the movie playing, you can hear a pin drop! friday night we seen the first hour and last night we seen the rest of it!! i know there have been a few adaptations of this movie, but, i believe that this particular version could be the best! inmagine if you will, if they treated folks like her in this day and age!! i just am grateful that society has evolved and we no longer listen to "the church" and put people in "church court" for having visions and hearing voices! and it was good to know that they finally exonerated her and realise that they made a mistake. if they treated folks like that today, there would be a lot of us going up in flames! yeeeeee!!
well, it is sunday, and i work today and tomorrow from noon til 4 then off the next 3 days, and friday is an 8 hour day, as it is the day after christmas!!
