Pictureless short entree saturday!
welcome to pictureless saturday!! yay!!
welp, work was great yesterday, the day after christmas sales, and all i did was underwear, underwear, underware..and socks! reloading and filling in and more reloading, and putting stuff back into packaging, and folding and straightening! it made for a quick 8 hours! the day started off with a kabang, as i went to the post office and the general delivery window and there in the pile was a christmas gift card from my pal from elgin, the one and only yarnsmith who sent me a $15 starbux card!! wheeee!!! thank ye thank ye! your contribution to the cause is well appreciated!!
the temps are going to get better today, as we are on the way here of reaching the mid-40's and the evil 2-3 inches of snow that crippled seattle will be ALL GONE!! yay! so now its back to wet and soggy, which is fine by me! hehehee!!
i read in the paper that eartha kitt croaked on christmas day! i remember her as catwoman in the batman tee vee show! but she wasnt the original catwoman, that honour is bestowed to julie newmar, and it got me to thinking for just a fleeting moment, whatever happened to julie newmar? i thought she was the better "catwoman".
well, i work today and sunday from noon til 4 and monday also, and in addition, i work on new years day! i think what i will do on monday before work is to goto HR and see if i need to fill out another app for when my temp status will be over, and i have a feeling that might happen real soon, as yesterday they let go 3 temps, so i think its high time to get on the stick, and get busy, if i wanna keep the job past inventory which starts the 2nd week of january!
one thing i plan on doing, is getting a cheep motel room so i can watch the coronation inauguration of our new President! im looking forward to that and i believe it will be the highest ratings extravaganza ever!! i read in the new york times that Mr. Obama will be taking the train to washington, and that will be exciting!!
well, thats all the junk and high garbage i have from here! only a few more daze left til 2009!! yay!!!
