friday end of month diatribe
whew! im stuffed like a turkey at thanksgiving!

this morning, jon, my coffee drinking pal, got his sick check today, and we went to planet java in pioneer square, whereas we dined on:
1.chicken fried steak
2.2 eggs over easy
3.taters
4.gravy, nice and thick
5.english muffins
6.pancakes
7.bagels and cream cheese
8.coffee, tomato juice AND milk!

so, im now stuffed to the gills, and wont eat anymore today! whew!!

pretty soon, the rat bastard that thieved my laptop will get his due! but its gonna be awhile, i talked with the rep on the fone, and she said that the whole process will take at minimum 45 days. so, another thing on the waiting list.

i got a mat at the ranch last evening, so, no more churches for me, and its just as good, its not the taj mahal, but its free, and no bed bugs and clean! added onto the waiting list is a spot to store my bag o'rags, and a hook for my coat, so, i still have to tote this volkswagon around with me for at least anutter week.

nothing shaking on the job front, even in the labor gigs section, theres nothing happening. i was talking with barista amy down at the hobo starbux this morning, and she works at TWO jobs just to make ends meet. shes a good gal, and puts up with all the skeexix that ambles on in there, shes quick with the fone too, and when she tells ya to hit the bricks, you better! but, she treats my group like customers, cause we act like gentlemen, not morons!

rumor is floating around that frank, the one with the colon cancer has croaked, no one has seen him in almost a month, and his beat up truck is still parked down under the viaduct, it has a handicap placard on the windshield, so the traffic cops dont do anything to it. but, its all cleaned out, and no one is sleeping innit.

had a run in yesterday at the library, there was a chair at the payphone in the library, so, i sat there and was talking with my lojack rep when this mex janitor employee came by, interupted my conversation, about the chair, and i let him have it but good, and he got the library cop, by the time i spoke to the library cop i was done with the fone, and was waiting on the elevator. i spoke to the library cop as to how ignorant and rude this idiot was, and thats why i gave him the business, and i told him that the chair was already at the fone, and if he came up to me like a human, he would have gotten the polite treatment; i said like how you approached me, in a professional, respectful manner, and in kind i treat you with equal respect. thats the way its done. be an idiot, and i give ya the business, be professional, and you get respect back. he apoligized to me, and thanked me and took the mex away and as i was getting on the elevator, i could overhear him giving the janitor the business!

and they whine when ICE picks em up, and boots em back where they belong!

my pal, mel over in isreal left a very interesting comment as to how things are in the holy land about the illegal aliens they encounter there, and they have the same problems as we do...
"We have both an illegal alien problem here, and a constant amount of tension over hiring others to do jobs that we theoretically could do ourselves. I have no answers. What do we do with hundreds of people from the Sudan and the Darfur region who managed to sneak into the country - send them back - question mark. What do we do with those 'illegals' who sneak in with bombs and knives - and at the same time we have jobs that Israelis do NOT want to do, and these illegals will take happily, willingly, gratefully. I'm not even talking about really scut jobs, but for instance hotel work in Eilat (no one wants to go to Eilat). It is almost always to some extent in the public debate, but no one has any answers for it. Whatever we do, someone is going to be hurting - and we are also in an economic slump, albeit not as bad (yet) as you are experiencing in America. We really have no way of knowing by looking who might be illegal. It is a real problem..."

sound familiar? i would GLADLY do a job that someone wont do, just to keep these mongrels from taking it and denying us our god given right to work in this country.

well, im off to see the wizard on craigslist and other job sites to see what i can see!! hava slap happy weekend, and remember to keep the faith, it will get better, it will just take some time.
