wow! i just seen the last time i was here~ 24 days ago! dang! it doesnt seem that long!!!
well, in that time frame, i got a puter for my room, and i tore into it and found problems which i corrected as much as i can. there are a lot of bad clusters on the hard drive...clusters are like brain cells, damage enuff of em and ya hard drive is dead! call CSI! hahaha! o well! anyhoo, its up and running for now, and i will get a new hard drive when the check comes and after i pay bills! pay bills..now theres a new concept for me! well, theres rent, phone and cable...i tryed to get direct tv installed here, i live in a residential hotel, and after i paid 56 bucks for shipping and got the equipment, the installer came and he was 1/2 assed. no tools, and he refused to install...grrrrrrrr. all hell broke loose, the voice decibels were raised dramatically, people got scared, and i will get my $$$ back by months end. so now i got a new thing called USDTV, and from what i can tell, its only available in my area. the way it works is you connect ya antenna to the reciever box and u can get not only your local channels crystal clear, but some cable channels also. in digital! hi defination too even though i just got a regular tv. did u know that some broadcast channels broadcast 2 or 3 versions of their channel? i get 2 nbc local channels 1 in regular and 1 in HDTV which means i get 2 versions of the olympics, IE: one channel is swimming and the udder is gymnastics.
so now im all set up here, fone innernet and tv; let us see how long this crap lasts....i travel quite a bit and usually stay in shelters, but im sick of that and trying to change. this is the 1st room i rented in 2 years the last 1 lasted 2 months, i been here 2 and 3/4 in the room and in this city 4 months. winter will be here soon which means i havta gather winter gear and i'd better do it quick! its still warm here, but this being the middle of august, i got i figure 40 days or so left to get winter gear. some guy knocked on my door at 3:30 am to trade cigs for coffee, i just got up and was on my 1st cuppa coffee when he knocked. grrrrrrrr. well, i gave him the coffee 4 the smokes... its 5 am the fone rings, its a telemarketer, i yell its 5am who the fuck is this???? they hung up. now i gotta report em to the fone co. grrrrrrrrr. im sittin here thinking how easier it was to live inna shelter, none of these headaches... well, thinking on it havin ya own room is easier and the headaches are minimal. i can take a nap later if i want as opposed to sleepin in the park and gettin hassled by the cops. ya payin rent does have its advantages.....
yesterday was aug. 16. it was the 27th year without elvis. i miss him very badly, and forever angry that he died.not many people know this, but he had an enlarged heart, and a twisted colon and his liver was shot to hell, not to mention all the drugs he took...
well, its 5:15 am and im sittin here thinkin of what to say, listening to the news, and inna bit im goin to the mission for breakfast. this is a good mission, they serve 2 meals a day breakfast and dinner, but dinner u get a preaching for an hour. its ok sometimes, cause they serve decent food, later today, i gotta get a food box. thats always fun! hahaha. blah!
