getting active
good morning one and all!! today is international womans day!! hey hey!! i dont know much about how this came about, so i got no comment on it, except to say, its international womans day!
my pal jason, who lives down the hall, and whom i have been trying to get him to do good things online, besides chasing chat women, has joined diaryland at my urging. he hasnt set up his profile yet, and i have to show him how, also, he hasnt set up his comments/notes yet. i will show him how to later on. so add him to ya read list, and let him know he is a good guy. hes goin thru a time right now, and needs a friend or 2 or 3 or 63. so heres his page:mrglines38 so until i get his notes settings goin, send him a big howdy email, and welcome to diaryland! thanky yous!!
i got a swell postcard from my pal, kindergarten teacher of the year boxx!! itsa postcard of "sebastopol yard art" which is veryfine, indeed!! i do not have a scanner, (WHAT? NO SCANNER? SHAME, SHAME!) so im sorry i cannot post it here! but take my word for it, its swell!! thanks, Ms. B!!
i decided to get away from here yesterday, as i had my laundry to do, we have laundry machines here, but i had a craving to use those giant stainless steel front end loaders which are just wonderful!! it was a very nice sunshiny warm day here yesterday. i took a cab across town, and as i was waiting for a cab with the laundry hamper, doyle the manager was asking what i was doin, and i sez im goin to a laundrymat, and he sez to me, whatsa matter, you dont like our machines? (no, not really) and i sez ya, i like em just fine, i just need to get out and do something different today! no biggie! the cab was a mistake! it cost $10 bucks to go to the good side of town to the fancy machines. i found out how to take the bus back home, and it turned out to be quite easy. i seen a coupla different supermarkets in the laundrymats neighbourhood, and decided to take a peek! and what a DIFFERENCE!! i mean, these markets were NICE! MODERN LOOKING! no trashy mongrels! shiny floors!! i know WHERE im going shopping next!! WOW!!! why is it that in the poor part of town, the supermarkets reflect the neighbourhood? i mean, in this side of town, the markets are shit, trashy, and full of employee idiots and mongrels, and it pisses me off!
but in the NICE side of town, the employees are normal, friendly, the markets are well lit, shiny floors, and the customers have a lil class!
prices are the same, the people are different.
one thing i forgot to do yesterday, and that was to take my sheets and blankies to the laundry mat! ah sheesh! its ok i got plenty, no biggie! next time!
todays activity will be to look at "fitness centers" to price them, and see what i can see. i mean it! im gonna LOSE THE PREGNANCY LOOK! i got DUN LAP DISEASE big time!! dun lap disease: thats when ya gut dun lap'd over ya belt buckle!!almost everyday, i am going to get outta here for a few hours, and go see what i can see. my only dis advantage is that i dont drive and have a car anymore. i cant afford the upkeep, so i will have to rely on the city busses, and light rail! thats time consuming! ah well! i will deal with it.
one thing im NOT going to buy is a bicycle! i see people riding bikes around town, and all of em are fat like me, so i dont see how that helps. right now, i weigh 275 pounds (125 kgs) my goal is to drop 75 lbs. lets see if that can happen. no more naps either!!
