giving people \"the business\" and udder stuff!!!
today, we here at who did it and ran, ink! we will be exploring giving people, namely any and all of yous who read this drivel, !!!

when i was a wee lad long ago and far away, when the united states and canada were about the same, but just slightly different, it was pretty common to give people "the business" which meant, and this is for yous whos too young to remember, and if ya dont, ya need to go back to bed; it meant that we played a good joke on them, and laughed our asses off! sometimes, we gave each udder "the business", as in "are ya gonna give him the business, wally?"

so these days, on occasion, i try to expand this concept a bit here by giving you who read this, !! and then sit back, and watch the comments just pour in, and have a good laugh!!

now, mind you, i am not having a laugh at your expense, its just that on occasion, i like to pull a fast one, and publish fake news and see who swallows, hook, line, and sinker!!!

its all meant to be had in good cheer, and not meant to be at all insulting. i used to be very gullible myself, and still am, to a point. so, when i do this, and ya never really know when i am going to do this, and when after i finish giving you !!and then letting you know it was fake, please dont get upset or angry that you got took, and im laughing about it. its all done in good fun, and not meant at all to be insulting your intelligence.

this drivel is here to have fun with. so, lets have fun!

On this day in 1981, IBM introduced the Personal Computer. Compared to room-hogging mainframes, this relatively petite machine could sit atop desktops in homes and schools. IBM's new machine was rigged with an Intel processing chip and an operating system developed by that evil corporate giant, Microsoft. Scholars in ivory towers were using Usenet, and the Internet was more than just a gleam in Tim Berner's eye.

This weekend marks the commemoration of Tisha B'Av, the Fast of the Ninth of Av, a day of mourning to remember the many tragedies that have befallen the Jewish people. It is the saddest day of the Jewish calendar, because of the incredible series of tragedies that occurred on that date throughout Jewish history. The time between sunset Saturday to nightfall on Sunday marks the most intense peak of a three-week mourning period.

Now here's a scary thought: National Kool-Aid Days are today through Sunday. Celebrate with the big, happy, condensation-dripping mascot, but as they say, don't drink the Kool-Aid.

just 3 more daze til the big move to the big place for me!! i feel like i graduated!!!
hava fun filled weekend!!! QUICK PROGRAMMING NOTE! i am cancelling my AT&T account and going with comcast cable innernet service when i move, so i will be losing the ability to upload songs to the daily drivel until i can find out if comcast will let me do the same, or find a free uploading service! and i have to call them today to clarify if they are coming either monday like i want them to or tuesday, like they want to! so depending upon when monday AT&T disconnects, i may not be able to put up the drivel on monday.

FACT OF THE DAY
Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Dupplin Moor, where Edward Balliol and knights disinherited by Robert the Bruce after the Battle of Bannockburn defeated four year-old David II's regent, Donald, Earl of Mar, at Scone, near Perth.
