Hello all-
So here we are, about 2 months out from JournalCon 2005, and oddly enough, exactly one year past JournalCon DC 2004.
And we are wondering where all our attendees are. We're not sure what it is, but this year seems to be the Year That Ate JournalCon. And only you can prevent that from happening.
We've done all we can. The rest is up to you. Between now and the end of registration, you can score a FREE business card sized program ad by doing two simple things:
1) Register for JournalCon.
2) Refer at least 5 people to register at JournalCon.
That's it. Well, that, and come out to San Diego and have the time of your life. Seriously, we've done some hard work and set up a great conference and I'd hate to see any of you miss it.

We've set up our own private karaoke party AND arranged for attendees to put their requests in ahead of time via our personalized karaoke page (http://www.starwoodmeeting.com/StarGroupsWeb/booking/reservation?id=0505053267&key=B6). We've even planned a get to know everyone dinner for Friday night! It's going to be awesome, if I do say so myself.
So if you're already registered, get your friends to come with. And if you're not registered, hurry over and join the fun ASAP...registration fees are due to increase next month!

wouldnt ya know it, that the only tee-vee station here in slc that refused to air cindy sheehans ad is the one thats NOT OWNED by the mormans.... you'd a thunk that the mormans would have not run the ad....suprised me!!
well, im trying not to stress about cat not drinking water... someone suggested that i just keep the bathroon sink filled with water... so i dunno, we will see what happens!~
last night, just before i was to goto sleep i noticed cat sitting at the front door, and meowing and sniffing... so i picked him up and took him outside, and sat down on a chair.
cat was calm for all of 30 seconds, as i held him he looked all every which way, then the panic set in, he started to twist and struggle, and the door was open, so i let him drop, and he ran like hell back into the house!! i never seen such a thing!! cat is mightily afraid of the great outdoors!~!
well, its coffeetime!!!
and time to feed the cat!!

1766. Scots-born ornithologist, naturalist and illustrator Alexander Wilson was born today in the town of Paisley. At first showing an interest in poetry, the young Wilson soon emigrated to the USA where he became fascinated with birds. He eventually produced a nine-volume American Ornithology illustrating 268 species of birds.
