got any coffee??
happy friday boys and girls!!!

ok, let me clarify something, folks!

by nature, i am an easygoing, all around nice guy. it sickens me inside when i have to be an asshole. sometimes, my job requires me to be an asshole. i am thankful for my little job, and for the swell cheep housing it provides. and i am 100% dedicated to my job. which means i follow the rules that are set forth and enforce them 100%.

there was a reason why doyle put me out here at aspenview. this housing facility here is for mid-to severely mentally ill people that are stable on meds, and can live independantly. they have case managers; some have little jobs that they goto. they all deserve to intergrate into the mainstream of society without fear, real or imagined.

there are rules that are set forth for the safety and well being of all here, and its part of my job to enforce the rules 100%.

before i came here, these people living here were on thier own. one of the tenants here was being taken advantage of. these people out here are easily taken advantage of. i have the responsibilty of ensuring that this dont happen. we all deserve to live in our own homes without fear, real or imagined.

the scumshits that were here squatting in this one persons apartment, that was a no-no. they have been here since june. and i had to make it crystal clear not only to the tenant, but to these asswipes, who were taking advantage of this tenant. when ya live here you are allowed an overnight guest. to a degree, and not for an extended period of time.

so when i told these rats that they had to go, of course the tenant they were fucking over went to defending them, as he really dont know better. so i had to be the asshole and tell him that if they dont go, he will be evicted. i said this so he understood that what was going on was wrong.

peoples apartments here was getting broken into, and thats no right. so here i am, and all this shit that has been going on here is coming to a screeching halt, right now!! for the safety and well being of all who live here.

everyone deserves to live in peace and without fear. i am here to ensure that this happens.

and now, heres something we hope you really like!!

Today is Suffrage Day! The day that penis-free individuals and their be-penised-but-not-narrow-minded friends celebrate the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution in 1920, which gave women the right to vote. You've come a long way, baby!

But there's still so much work to be done. While you the ladies of the land may have the right to go do your thing behind the curtains of the booth, there's no guarantee that your vote will be counted, especially if you live in heavily Democratic counties in Florida or Ohio. Just ask bionic world consultant and astronaut Sean Penn.

And while we're on the topic of the political process, Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee -- best known for shedding 100 pounds -- will travel to New Hampshire over the weekend to meet with other Republicans for an annual pig roast. Aww shucks, it's just too easy to make a joke here. Let's leave that for the Pompeii poets and Supersonic Sean Penn. You've got some lyrics to memorize!

i didnt mention it, cause i was getting ready for work, and i forgot but on wednesday was pompeii day!! so, August 24, 79 A.D. was so not a good day to be a Roman. Mount Vesuvius shot its load all over Pompeii and Herculaneum, and all the good people of these two advanced societies had to stop all their advanced society activities and die. Survivors got a bum deal, too. In addition to your junior high PE teacher making Mt. Vesuvius jokes about unfortunate skin situations, every maudlin poet felt the need to write about Pompeii's ashy end. (Herculaneum got off; it was harder to hard rhyme.)

For your perusal:

From Don Gray's The Last Day of Pompeii, a poem:
They died from crushing stone, the fumes, the smoke
that had no life to give, but all to take.
All was taken. Life, love, hope, home.

Arthur Graves Canfield Pompeii.
0 sad Pompeii!
0 dead Pompeii!
Silent are thy streets;
Heavy is thy winding sheet of ashes.
In the old time the sky was blue above
thee.
Thou hast been happy with the play of
children,
Hast feasted, and been gay with dance and
music.

From Dar Williams' This Was Pompeii
Once I had a sadness and the sadness turned to trust
The trust turned into ashes and to lawyers and to dust
A century, a day
This was Pompeii
hay hay!! (i just threw in the hay hay cause it rhymes with pompeii!!!)

doyle came out here yesterday afternoon just to tell me that the construction site across the street from the rio grande, where i used to lock the gates up at night, suffered a crane tipping!! fortunatly, no one got hurt, but this will set things back a bit. what happened was that they put too much weight on the crane, and it went belly up!! heres a pic from KSL tee-vee!!!

and one more just for effect:

wow, huh?

i will be working saturdays 9 am to 5 pm from now on!!! yay!!! no more saturday night overnights!! wheeeeeee!!! truth be told, i was getting sick from staying up all night, and having my sleep patterns all fucked up!!

well, thats all there is here, there is no more!! hava happy friday, and weekend!! and dont forget to feed your cat, or he will wake you up at 3 am to make sure of it!~!
