its frosty freezo outside!!
THE CAT woke me up at 2 am on the dot!~ so i fed him, and made some coffee, and had a smoke.
i sat here. drank a 1/2 cup, and was thinking, this is madness!!! here it is 2:30 am, and im awake for no good reason.
so, i went back to bed.

im feeling a lil rotten today. just a lil. yesterday i had to issue a 3 day vacate to this gal who has a payee, and her payee (valley mental health) did not issue a rent check. this poor gal is severely disabled, severely. when you talk to her, you have to talk to her like she is 5, and you have to talk slow, and repeat what you say and ask her if she understands. THIS FUCKING SUCKS ASS BIG TIME!!! i explained to her that she needs to call her case manager, and tell her that if we do not recieve a rent check by thursday, she needs to move out. as the drool runs down her mouth, she just stood there and smiled. i told her this again, 2 more times, and asked if she understood, and she said yes, and she just smiled. i dont know if she understood. i hope the idiots that take care of her money get us a rent check BEFORE thursday. the same thing happened last month. last month, i had to call her case manager and get her to send us a check. well, doyle sez not to do that, we shouldnt have to do this, so lets see what happens. ugh.
i have to do a lil shopping today, but i am not going out in the frosty freezo crusty air. im gonna wait til it hits 40 which it should by noon.
i betcha wondering what i would do if i was on the street. well, this time of year, i would not be around here, i would be down south where its warm, like in south texas, with the mexicans, or down in florida with the flying roaches. if ya never been to south florida, you should go sometime, just to see the spectacle that is the flying cockroach!! they are huge!!!! and in some places, you have to watch where you step.
yesterday afternoon, the guy that spent his rent on booze got a check from the bishop, and doyle told him that he has no more chances. if next month, he does the same thing, he will surely be out on his ass.
i had a long talk with him yesterday about his activities. he is my age, and looks 60. he aint a bad guy, just a lil looney, and has a problem. i explained to him about priorities, and the importance of keeping a roof over his head. i told him that i used to do the same thing, and i am 20 years sober. and i preached to him, and told him that he needs to goto meetings. he seems to understand consequences, and i also told him that even I pay rent here, and if i dont have enough hours and cannot make MY rent, that the same thing will happen to me, im no different. if i dont pay rent, i will be evicted too. so, lets see what happens next month.
well, its 9 am, lets see what the day brings!!! stay warm!!!
