hoo boy!!!!
fried egg day!!!
well, yesterday i got a prize from one of my tenants!
free!!! absolutely free, a new maxtor one touch 120 gig exteriour hard drive!!! yay!!!
so, after i gave it the once over last night, this morning, i backed up my hard drive unto it. so if my hard drive goes plooey, i can use this one.
this was totally unexpected!
the guy that gave it to me, hes one of these people who should not be allowed to touch a computer. he had a perfectly good laptop, and he bought an e machine, which theres nothing wrong with that, he gave the laptop to a friend of his.
so, he sets up the new e machine, then, he comes knocking at the door.
"can you help me?" i sez ok, so i go over to his house, and theres the brand new e machine, and he tells me, "im taking this back to wal mart, it dont work!" i sez whatta ya mean it dont work? he sez well look at it! it just went "POOF"!!
the power button and the monitor button was blinking.
(shhhh. the computer was hibernating!!! heheheheee!!! dont tell him!)
so, i grabbed the mouse and wiggled it, and voila! the computer sprang to life!!!
his old laptop, less than a year old, used to do the same thing!!
so, i AGAIN explained to him what hibernating means, and he felt better. i gave it the once over for him, and told him its fine, theres nothing wrong with it, and again told him to stay away from porn sites.
never a dull moment....
yesterday morning, the guy whose oven talks to him, had a bunch of clothing, and a 10 speed bike clumped up in front of his door.
so, i go over there and knock on his door. he sticks his head out the door, and starts yelling at me, "what the fuck do you want, etc....."
i told him to calm down, then i realise he is buck nekkid!!! well if he wants to parade around his apt. nekkid, thats his bizness..
so, he calms down, and i ask him whats up with all this stuff in front of his door? and he goes on a diatribe as to how this guy he knows came by and wanted him to hold the junk for him, and he didnt wanna, he dont even want the guy around. yada yada yada....
so, i told him that his pal got until 5 pm to get the junk outta here, or it will go in the dumpster, and he agreed. i told him that this is a fire hazard. he said ok, and "im sorry for yelling" and that was that.

so, a lil while later, doyle the manager comes by with some files for me to work on here at home for him, (i like paperwork!!) and he sees the junk in front of this guys door, and asks me about it, and i explained the situation to him, and then we discuss the legalities of tossing the stuff in the dumpster; and i tell him that he didnt want the stuff there to begin with, and he didnt want this guy around, so doyle then says, well lets go ask him to bring the stuff inside his house.
well, doyle knocks on the door, and the guy sez who is it? and i tell him, that doyle is here and wants to talk to you. he sez ok hang on.
so we wait a few minutes.
now, mind you, this guy has been a pain in the ass since he has moved in here, and has broken several rules and has been written up several times, and is on doyles "shit list". now, doyle, he dont have much patience, so he bangs on the door again, and yells cmon, open the door!!!
the guy opens the door, and yells at doyle, "what the fuck do you want?" oh boy!! you do not say that to doyle!!! the shit hit the fan!! and yelling back and forth commenced. i had to step in and stop it.
end result, doyle told me to write up 2 lease violations, 1 for being verbally abusive to management, and another for refusing to move the junk. then he told me to write up a notice of termination of lease. he has until march 1st to vacate. then doyle left.
so i got that paperwork done and delivered it to him, and he was not happy, and i told him this all could have been avoided, by just putting the stuff in his apartment. after another resounding, "FUCK YOU!" i just walked away.
doyle called later on, wanting his case mamagers name and fone number, and i gave it to him. so doyle called his case manager, and told him that he is evicting his client. so, that is that.
when march 1st comes around, and the guy is still in the apartment, he is in legal violation by occupying the residence unlawfully, and i will have to call the sheriff. i hope it dont come to that.
so, this is friday, lets see what happens today!!!
