You Are Las Vegas

Wild and uninhibited, you enjoy all of life's vices.

You're a total hedonist, especially with sex, gambling, and drinking coffee.

You shine brightly every night, but you do the ultimate walk of shame each morning.

What American City Are You?

spring training for baseball is here!! yippee!!!
and good ole barry bonds has reported for spring training!!!
so, hopefully, this will be the year, hopefully, that good ole barry bonds, barring injury, will be the new home run king!! let the festivites begin!! woo woo!!

one thing i would like to do, is be there when good ole barry bonds steps up to the plate, and smacks #756!!!

announcer: here he comes, folks!! last at bat, bonds hit # 755 to tie hank aaron for the record, and now he he comes, and steps up to the plate. everyone is on thier feet! the crowd is going wild, and the police are all lined around the stands!! here it comes, the pitch!
its wide, and outside, ball 1.

bonds steps out, makes a few adjustments, and steps back in, and the tension mounts. the pitcher checks the sign, takes a deep breath, and now the pitch...

the swing!! bonds connects!! its a long fly ball to deep center!! this could be it folks!! high and deep!! and there it is!! bonds has done it! #756!!! theres a scrub at the area where the ball has landed!! whoever comes up with the ball, will have the souviener of a lifetime!! and theres a mob in the stands in center field!! the game has stopped!! the police are there to thin out the crowd!! theres mayhem erupting in the stands!! the police are there, and the mob starts to thin out, seems like some one has the ball!! lets hope we can get a shot as to who has it!!

theres a man slowly getting up, he looks a little bruised, and theres a ring around the crowd where the man is, he appears to be the one with the ball, and he is now being escorted by police away from the area!!
lets see if we can get a shot of this lucky fan!!

woo hoo!!!

hahahhaaa!!! imagine that!!! if i got ahold of that baseball!! oh, man!! that would be like winning the lottery!! i would be rich and world famous!!! wheeeeeeeee!!!

ah well, dream a lil dream for me!!

saturday! time to get ready for work!!

have a fun filled day, folks!!

FACT OF THE DAY
On this day in 1923 the famous Flying Scotsman locomotive began hauling scheduled services between London and Scotland.

TIME TO EAT!
Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes

2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 Tbsp sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup milk
3 Tbsp warm melted butter
1 cup blueberries
1 Tbsp of butter or vegetable oil

1 Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix the eggs, milk and buttermilk in a separate bowl. Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until the batter just comes together. Add the melted butter. Mix lightly. Fold in the blueberries (or wait to add them once the batter has already been poured on the griddle - this will keep them from bleeding).

2 Heat a flat iron surface - griddle or large pan - to medium high heat. Oil the pan with either a Tbsp of butter or vegetable oil. Ladle the pancake batter onto the griddle to the desired size, usually about 5 or 6 inches wide. When air bubbles start to bubble up to the surface at the center of the pancakes (about 2-3 minutes), use a flat spatula to flip them over. After a minute, peak under one for doneness. When golden or darker golden brown, they are done. Note that cooking the second side takes only about half as long as the first side. And the second side doesn't brown as evenly as the first side. Serve immediately.

Serve with butter and maple syrup.

Serves 3-4.

YUM!

zippy!!!
