sunday reading of the epistle of coffee
sunday!
i was dreaming that a warm wet breeze was blowing upon my face.
i awoke at 3 am abruptly to this:
somebuddy is hungry! he was sitting on my chest, sniffing my face! so, its chow time! and coffeetime, too! you know its coffeetime, especially when you sit at the puter, and mistake your cigarette package for the damn mouse for more than 45 seconds!
3 am shredder safety tip #1:
when shredding folded paper, be sure to check to see if theres a $5 bill tucked into the paper first, do not just go willy-nilly into the shredder!!!
i have decided to go with the horozontal mini blinds, yea, although i smoke like the exaust pipe on your SUV, soap and bleach water does a real fine job in cleaning nick-o'teen stains!!!
speaking of nick-o'teen stains, the tenant that lives next door to me, yesterday evening, he knocked on the door wanting to know if he could borrow a pack of smokes, and i noticed brown shit like stains on his fingertips.
"do you need toilet paper?" i asked.
"no, (giggles) why?"
"welp. your fingertips look like shit, literally!"
"oh! well, you know i smoke non-filtered cigarettes, thems nick-o'teen stains!!"
(as he says this, he proudly displays his hand)
well, at this point, i took him over to the sink, and physically showed him the proper hand-scrubbing technique to getting them fingertips zestfully clean! he was amazed at the procedure, and i gave him G.O.D. (Good Orderly Direction) to repeat the procedure daily, as needed.
i am no longer angry at the misguided fools that i have ranted about yesterday, as there is nothing that I, as an individual, can do anything about it!
yesterday afternoon, in wino park, da lord mayor, "rocky" took his case to the small speckling of people that showed up to hear him sing praises upon this park. it didnt last as long as advertised, no one gives a shit, and it got ZERO news coverage.
what did get news coverage last evening at 10 pm news was the smattering of kids that gathered upon library square yesterday afternoon, "demonstrating" against the war in iraq.
also, the smattering of kids that camped out downtown in protest over the carnage that is going on in the sudan.
by seeing this on the news, one would think that the youth in this city is politically concerned about world affairs. they are not. all they see this is an oppurtunity to hang out.
