6:30 in the AM! - 01 August, 2006
rambling tuesday!!!
well, i am typing with one hand today, because of this:
woo! right after i typed the above, ole zipper jumped off my arm!
ole zip got a new trick! he reaches in his litterbox, grabs a piece of poo, and plays poo soccer with it! i woke up today and yesterday with poo balls on the rug!! well, that just means that due diligence will be required, and a daily scooping of the litter box will have to be done.
he still jumps up onto the sink area and tryes to drink the soap water. so, daily dishwahing will be done to eliminate that.
i done a lil tweeking with the page here as you can see; i think it looks better.
yesterday was busy as a bee here, i didnt have time for pogo!
i went out at 4am as i sometimes do, and walk about the property. and i found a poor soul on the front grass, asleep. i woke him up, and he sprung up and ran like hell!! poor basstid. i remember when....
anyhoo, yesterday ~~~ i had to call for the grass bugman to come by, and look at our lawns, as we have brown patches. and we have bugs eating the grass and turning it brown. so they will come out today and spray the grass, and i had to show the lawn care guy that we need the bushes around all the a/c units trimmed. each apt. here has its own a/c unit.
then, doyle came by with don the maintenence man, and we took bids for the parking lot, it needs to be resurfaced, and evened out, and restriped, and a wheelchair ramp put in. this process took most of the day.
we went around with the maintenence crew, and showed them all the lil things that need to be done; painting, stucco repair, etc..
the front door lock went belly up yesterday, and that needed immediate repair, and i told doyle about 90 bux, and he started in on his "cheap jew" routine, so, i just let him talk to the maintenence crew, and they tole him the same thing, and they went out and got a new door handle.
also, the refrigerator man was out here to replace a part on one of the tenants freezer. thats 110 bux. i know what doyle is gonna say; we have refrigerators at the wherehouse collecting dust, we could have gotten one of them!! sheesh!
we have a home loan state inspection coming up on the 16th. money HAS to be spent to make REPAIRS!! to pass inspection. its little things that need doing. they add up.
i still have this wicker chair!
i put it up on craigslist the other day tryin to sell it for 100 bux; got no takers. im stuck with it right now.
i would put it up on ebay, local pick up only. but i dont think it would sell there either. i dunno. *sigh*
hay!!! did ya know that google has a STORE? i just discovered that last night!!!
i just might do a lil shopping when i get paid friday!!
speaking of friday, i have an inspection at the rio grande on friday this is always fun! count the slobs, and tell em to clean up the room! woo!
well, its time for some sausage and eggs!! stay cool, drink WATER!!!!
