4 am and all is well!! - 19 daze b4 my B-day!!

i didnt have any time yesterday to update. i had to work yesterday, and i woke up at 6 am. i can tell that the season is changing; im sleeping longer. either that, or im just plain exhausted! like i sez, i woke at 6 am zipper the alarm clock wonder cat whacked me in the head with his paw, and MEOWR!! oh, im up! the bus for work leaves at 7:15, and thankfully, the bus stop is right out front! but, i have NO TIME!!! i made coffee, and was able to read diaries, but, thats it! i was gonna update at work, but, when i got there, we had too much to do. and when i had free time, all i wanted to do was go outside and hava smoke.
yesterday was doyle the manager's birthday! thats why i went to work! hehe. lots of activity around yesterday! next door to the hotel, is a parking lot, and in that lil lot, is a lil building that used to be a corner store, but recently, has become an abandoned flop spot for all the crackhead criminals who claim to be "homeless" and are the main source of problems for us.
well, when i got to work on time yesterday morning, i seen that a crew had taped off the corner, and to my amazement, they tore down that eyesore of a worthless building!!!!! yay!!
i knew that this was gonna happen, as last week they came by to remove the abestos in there! some illegals who were using the place as a flop started to whine to a cop there: "we were sleeping there!! now where will we sleep?" and the cop sez, "Mexico?" and we all had a good laugh!! Due to the fact that our mealy mouth outgoing mayor loves the illegals, the local cops cant bust the bastards unless the commit a crime!! ok, im digressing....dont get me started!! woo!!! i wish i'da known that they was knocking down the eyesore i woulda brought my camera! shucks!!
well, in the hotel, it was food day!!!! and i rushed outta the house worrying whether or not my lil bowl of spagetti would be enuff food to eat today!! ha!! the food bank arrived with cheese, beans, cottage cheese, applesauce, and beef stew!! so, me and clady the cleaner made up 22 bags to pass out to the tenants. this is called the "brown bag" programme from the food bank, it comes 2 times a month, on tuesdays at the hotel, and mondays here. we didnt get any here on monday, next moonday will be our turn.
so, we bagged the food, and set out the extras. i brought home 6 pounds of cheese, in 1 pound bricks! and 2 cans of beef stew, and 3 cans of beans!! also, doyle had some ice cream cake, and some grapes, and someone gave me a tin of sugar cookies, and clady the cleaner went to the free lunch, and brought back surprisingly enough, cold fresh bananas!! of which i ate 3, and gave moocher the rest!!
then we had 3 new tenants moving in, so i gathered up thier files, and put together the paperwork, and got them all settled in. clady reported that one of the bathrooms upstairs was locked, and he could not open the door with the key, so i went up and gave it a whirl. no good. about this time doyle came back, and i told him that door we cant open, so he went up to try. also i found out from moocher that he told fat jason days ago about this, and i told this to doyle, and he commented, "im just now hearing about this" so, doyle had me fill out a work order for the door, and the maintenence will come and fix it.
across the street, at the new hilton (90 bux a nite) they are building an iggys sports bar!!! yay!!! iggys sports bar has great eating!! a little better than applebees, but right across the street!!! moocher sez that when they open it up, hes gonna spend a lotta dinners there! i told him he has to clean up 1st! hahahaha!!! you cant walk in there looking all slobby now!!!
the neighbourhood is slowly changing; cops are actually patrolling, and removing the scumbags; but, its a thankless job that they have, they are like roaches, remove one and five appear to take they place. well, they are making progress; no more are the scum hanging out on the corners, and laying on the sidewalks! in pioneer park, (wino park) they are patrolling more, and its not as bad as it was. all the crackhead "homeless" hang out in the park. but, still, theres more scum to be swept outta there. saturdays are wonderful, as the farmers market comes and takes over the park from 5 am to 3 pm. and its very nice.
monday was a "no news watching day" for me after 7 am. thats when MSNBC said that they were gonna rebroadcast the today show from 9/11. WHY???? WHy does the media have to REHASH OVER AND OVER AGAIN this tradegy? it was horrible. we were attacked. now, we are fighting back. people (news media) needs to move on for fucks sake!!! so, thankfully i had pogo and honeymooner dvd's to occupy my pea brain with. we were not attacked, like the news media outlets had hoped, and all was well in the land.
today, i fell asleep early, and awoke at 1:30 am to a earthquake in my tummy!! so, i decided to just get up, after laying around, and get some coffee. coffee heals all wounds. im on my 3rd cup, and my tummy is relieved!!!
in pogo!! they revamped jungle gin, a gin rummy game! you can set it in the options to make aces hi or low, or both!! and as usual, playing the puter is hard like trying to get a badge. they have ranks now, and badges, good stuff!! im at rank 3 already!! the new challenges come out this morning, so, there will be plenty to do in pogo.
this is entree # 799 and tomorrow will be # 800!!! 800 drivels!! to me that is just amazing in itself!! i never in my life would have ever thought that i can actually compose 3 sentances together, let alone maintain an online diary, and have actual people interested in what i have to say!! incredable!!
and, finally, its 3:47 am mountain goat time, and im gonna cook a mess of eggs and sausages and taters and toast and continue to drink massive amounts of coffee!! i am so lucky to be able to do this!!!
