friday junk
last year, i went into best buy, this was before i moved here, and was still livin in the hotel; i bought a toaster oven, and it was just 50 bux! i got the extended 2 year free replacement warranty. at the time, the lil gal who sold it to me sez, " if ya get the 2 year extended free replacement warranty, all ya have to do is bring it back, and we will replace it, free!! no fuss, no muss!!
well, i DID save that paperwork, i found it in my paper drawer, and gave it the once over. the ole toaster oven was not doing so good, and i called best buy on the free replacement warrenty. again, i was told, just bring it in, and we will replace it, free. no fuss, no muss!
so, last evening, i got a ride to best buy with the toaster oven in tow. and the paperwork, and after a few questions, and 5 minutes later, i was walking outta the best buy with a brand spankin new, in the box never been used toaster oven!!! wooo!! felt like i stole it!!
so, in this case, it pays to get the 2 year free replacement plan!!
this morning, im gonna make some bisquits! yum!! i got a box of sourdough bisquit mix, and im gonna have at it!!
the temp dropped last night, 60� last night!!! once upon a time, to me, 60� was not cold at all!! i almost turned the heater on!! and it rained holy hi hell for a while, complete with thunder and lightning, and lil zipper wanted to go outside, and when he wants to go out, he lets me know it!! hehehee!! lil baby zipper!! so, to show him that we dont go out in the pouring rain, i put on his harness, and the leash, and out the door we went; once we got out the door, and into the muck and mire, he didnt want no part of that! and he did an about face and ran back indoors, and not a peep came outta him the rst of the night. i did take him out 2 times during the day, but i guess he wanted to try the rain, and like a good lil kitty, he dont like the rain one bit!! soon, it will get really cold, and the snow will come; ole zipper never seen snow, and he dont know what he is in for! this will be fun! he just might like the snow, we will see!!!
next friday, im heading out nice and early to the county animal shelter and get him fixed. next friday. i hope he wont change much, i kinda like it when he gets all up and snuggly with me. hes a good cat. but, i know this has to get done. he aint started spraying yet, and hopefully, i will get this done before that fun starts!!
well, its been almost a week since i took the plunge, and installed windows vista ultimate, RC-1. and no problems so far!! it really is more stable than before, and i do like it. if ya wanna give it a try just email me with ya snail mail addy, and i will send you a copy for your puter, free!! if ya dont like it, you can go back to xp or what ever operating system ya currently running!!
well, im off to make some bisquits!! this aughta be fun!!! hava great weekend!!! i know i will!!!
