im thankful, but i need a houseboy!!
well, i got my allowance paycheck (paycheque, reverting back to Canadian English)
i had $11.03 left over in the bank which i fought real hard NOT to spend over the weekend. the clock on the clubhouse wall says 4:50 am, and i have 2, soon to be one ciggy left. (gasp!! the tragedy of it all!!) i will be needing to get off my fat ass SOON and goto the 7/11 and get a pack of smokes. (sigh) i am being LAZY! i need a HOUSEBOY!!
me: oh, houseboy?
houseboy: yes, your emninence?
me: take the card, and get me some ciggys, ok?
oh and get yourself a lil something, ok?
houseboy: yes, sahib!! at once!!
(hands clasped together, houseboy bows deeply, takes a few steps backward, and gets the card, and quickly scurries out into the cold to the store....)
**POOF** wake up!
ok, so i like to daydream, heheheee. right after this posting, i will have to get dressed, and put on the coat, and trudge down to the 7/11. down the block, sheesh! lets face it, i have to go there to a store EVENTUALLY!!!! things are not going to magically appear!!

tomorrow night i work for moocher, as tomorrow he will be going to the eye doctor to remove the catarack from his eye, then he will be catarack free!! good for him! then, wednesday morning, i will have to run like hell as fast as the bus comes, to come home, and try to get a few hours sleep, then run like hell BACK downtown to get the free turkey dinner and bring some home, then back to sleep! then, thursday, doyle will have to come and get me as the busses aint running, and work for sammy the samoan overnight thursday into friday. come home, sleep more, and do my regular saturday shift! thats 40 hours crammed into 4 days. officially. there will be a few extra hours thrown in, as doyle will want, and i do too, to come in early for him.so, in reality, im looking at 18 hours tuesday into wednesday, then 18 hours thursday into friday. then 8 hours saturday. sunday, sleep. inbetween all this, i have to cram, shopping, cleaning the lobby, laundry, and self bathing all into this in-between! yes, i need a houseboy!!
this is all part of being in the mainstream of society, maintaining a job, and a bug free, clean apartment, with a cat, and a WARM place to sleep, with colour satellite TEE-VEE, computer, and safety!! for which I am THANKFUL for, to be able to do all these things. once upon a time, not too long ago, i was unable to do these things. in my previous life, this would be my schedule:
5:00 AM wake up in the shelter
6:00 AM stand in line IN THE COLD waiting for a bowl of oatmeal and weak coffee (probaly DE-CAF)
7:00 AM - 12 NOON wander aimlessly around the city, rain or shine
NOON stand in line to get lunch
1 PM - 6:00 PM wander aimlessly around the city, and hanging out in the library
7:00 PM sit in the mission and listen how JEEBUS is punishing me because i wont accept him as my saviour, therefore the reason why im in the situation that i am in, just to get a meal!
8:00 PM trudge down to the shelter, to pass out (goto sleep)
wash, rinse, repeat daily!
yes, folks, even though i may bitch, whine and stomp and complain on occasion about my CURRENT situation, i choose THIS over THAT, any day of the week.
i am truly THANKFUL FOR WHAT I HAVE!
and, now, i am officially OUT OF SMOKES!!! so now, i must leave you to your own devices, get dressed, go out into the cold, and walk one block to the 7/11 and get a pack of smokes.
i just may get a muffin whilst i am there! (i said, whilst and you didnt!! neener, neener, neener!!!)
i need a houseboy!! man is i LAZY or WHAT??
