happy monday, and if you got MORE than 3 hrs of sleep, thats more than i had!! wheeeeeee!!!

i made 30 bux in tips again, so now i got coffee money!! yay!! the pretzels sold like hotcakes!! i'd start at section 110 and by the time i got to section 118, i'd sold 30 pretzels!!! as for the hot dogs, i sold MAYBE 7? after the 3rd go around, (90 pretzels) i took back the hot dogs and sold just pretzels! i left at the beginning of the 4th quarter, when the score was tied 17-17, and by the time i cashed out, and left the stadium, the seahawks blew it again, and the skins kicked a field goal!!

and now for the MAIN EVENT!!! MACYS!!

well, i got there at the appointed time, 8:30 PM, actually i got there at 8:00 and so i sat a while before going to processing which is in the SUB-BASEMENT, which is the floor just above hell!! hahahahahaa!!!

i had to wait until the boss showed up, and i clocked in, and sat in the office and waited 45 minutes or so for him to show, then, NO ONE TOLD HIM I WAS COMING! yeech!! thats all right tho, and i introduced myself, and told him i been assigned to work from 8:30 PM til 12:30 am, sun, mon, tue, wed, and thursday! he then said that there is no work THIS thursday! (DUH) and that after this week, he has NO HOURS ALLOTED!!! rut-ro! i said that i was hired on for the holidays and then he said that more than likely, i will be switched over to day shift, which is 7 am to noon, and thats fine by me!! i think that later on today, i will skedaddle on over to HR and talk to them about next week, and beyond!!!!!

as for the actual work i did last night, it was a cake-walk!! all i had to do was take the plastic wrap off the clothes on the racks, and toss the plastic in the bins!! see, this is the setup at work:

3 guys with pallet jacks take the pallets off the truck, and bring em down the elevator, and into the processing floor, where another guy takes off the shrink wrap from the pallet load, and loads the boxes of merchandise onto the table, and then, there are 2 guys who take the clothing out of the boxes and onto the racks, the clothing comes with hangers and price tags already, and then, i get the rack o' clothes, and take the plastic which is similar to the plastic you get at the dry cleaners, and take the plastic off the clothes, send the rack over to the lil chinese gal who scans the price tag into the inventory gun, and puts the lil security plastic tag onto it and activate it, then 6 lil chinese gals take the racks up onto the respective floors!! calvin klein coats TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! calvin klein blazers for men, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!! yikes!!! babys 1st polo's, 55 dollars!!! sweatshirts, 99 bux on up!! 150 dollar jeans!!! yeeeeeeeee!!! womens flannel nightgowns, 66.50!!! thats just the kinda stuff i handled last evening!!! and just so to keep everyone honest, there are 4 eye-spy cameras on the ceiling, along with microphones to record sound. i was wondering why no one was talking much and then i seen the mikes, and remembered my tour of loss prevention and the fella telling us that they record both AUDIO AND VIDEO! so, thats that!! no monkey business!! not that i will create some monkey business, im just saying, you know!!

all in all, it was a good work day, i got back to the mission at 10 minutes to ONE AM, got a mat in the chapel, and next thing i know its 5:10AM TIME TO GET UP!! WOOO! HOOO!

and so im here at the employment office writing this, and my 1st macys check for about 6 hours for training will be on friday!! i hope that mr. sun makes a scheduled bright appererance this afternoon, nice and bright, so i can grab a NAP at waterfront park!! its supposed to be near 55 degrees this afternoon!!
