afternoon worker bee
howdee folks!! hope ya had a swell weekend!! i know i did!!
i just got offa work, and its not bad at all; i found out a few things tho, that im gonna have to follow up on, one thing is that today, i worked in "mens furnishings" which is underwear, socks, robes, and tee shirts and what not! whatta collection!! perry ellis, calvin klein, jockey armani and boss and what not!! so many brands!! what i did today was get stock from upstairs and down unto the floor, and from the stock room, and straighten up the area, easy peasy work!
noon til 4! i wasnt online this morning like usual, because i was with coffee drinker jon, and he invited me to breakfast and coffee, so that took care of the morning, then it was off to work, where i found out that im NOT ALLOWED to pick up hours, due to union considerations, so, those 10 hours that i got for this week and next? GONE! so, im gonna talk to the dept. manager about that because i was told one thing and now im told something different, so i need to straighten it out so im clear! so, for now im off tue and wed. and work the days mon thurs fri sat! and from what i was told tue and wed will be my days off.
some nimrod this morning tried to play "stop the monorail with his bare hands" but what he didnt figure on was that the monorail HAS BRAKES and they came in use all by themselves which the nimrod wasnt aware of, he figuring that the monorail would smoosh him into the barrier, which it didnt! and they talked him outta the monorail pit, which made for the mornings entertainment, and im sure it will be on the news!
im NOT going to play the christmas music on here, as i took a count, and the majority dont want it on here, so there, bah hamburg! no xmas music! thats ok! its just another day for me anyhow.
im going thru a wave o'depression right now, i wont have any money til friday, and what i get wont be enough to rent a room, but i can goto the mission that costs 5 bux a nite and stay there and sleep on a bed, and eat better, and not be around so many idiots. im getting fed up with the ignorant that is that mission i stay in now, with the mats on the floor and crappy food and shoving jesus down the gullet, morning noon and night! im just fed up in general, but i'll get over it!
im happy i have A JOB, and i will work hard to make it become permanent! thats the goal right now, to make this into a permanent gig! so im gonna concentrate on that and screw everything else!! noon to 4 is just fine right now.
so, i will try to be online tomorrow before work. see what the day develoups.
