work and the constitution!!
7am work!! til 2 pm! i just got done with the work, and at the library now!! work was swell, and easy peasy!!

scan the item to make sure its 33% off, if more than 50% off mark the price with red pen, otherwise use the purple pen! this morning we priced down baby clothes, so, you scan the item, and it will tell you the origional price, then the mark down price, and the percentage off! so, you write down the markdown price and put it on the approprate rack!

in the afternoon, we did ladies dresses, some of them were marked down to 80% off!! and thats all i did to-day, scan and mark, scan and mark! they track your production that way, too!

tomorrow, i will be starting inventory. no, i dont have to work graveyard, i already got that took care of! so, for the rest of the week, i will be at it from 6 am to 2 pm, and updates here in the afternoon, at the library, and i will know about being put on regular at the end of the week!! keep yer digits juxtaposed!!!

in mission news, i got the heave ho from hot lunch sunday yesterday, and i knew better, too!! we were sitting in chapel when my fone rang, and thats a no no! talking on the fone during 'chapel' is a no no too!! and i know better, but my friend jon was calling, and was wondering where i was, since he was at his mom's house in des moines, and i told him, "you knucklehead!" dontcha know what time it is, and where im at NOW?? what a maroon!! but, im a bigger maroon for talking on the fone during chapel, and i got the heave ho! so, no hot lunch sunday for me, and i missed out on chili too!!! man i was a lil pissed and told jon that when i seen him at the hobo starbux later on, and he felt bad for calling, and i tole him that i got anutter week at work and its from 6 to 2 and he said that he can walk with me up to macys, and i put the ky-bosh on that, telling him, no, im gonna be up at 4:30 am and hauling ass up the street, to get to the westlake plaza starbux they open at 5, and i wont have time for him to trudge up the street, slowing me down! it will take me 10 minutes to get up there, and thats across the street from macys, and i will sit there for 45 minutes and have my coffee, IN PEACE.

i like jon, but, hes getting to be a pain in the ass, friday, i wanted to come up here to the library b4 work, and all he wanted to do was be my shadow, and i just dont have the heart to hurt his feelings and say, jon, i need to be by myself, ok? hes 55 years old for cripes sake!! also, its a lil shaky too, cause he is just 9 months clean and sober, and he knows i have 23 years (on jan 8th) so, hes hanging around me, but its time to cut the apron strings so to speak, i need to be by myself, and he needs to understand that, if he dont, oh well, too bad. i play in traffic better when im by myself.

Todays topic is about the govenor of illnois and his choice to fill the senate seat laft vacant by president elect obama.

First, Gov. Rod Blagojevich of Illinois was overheard by prosecutors trying to auction off the United States Senate seat just vacated by President-elect Barack Obama (for cash or post-Statehouse employment). Now the not-so-good governor has taken his hubris to new heights and the misery of Illinois citizens to new lows.

Last tuesday, he broke his postarrest seclusion, arrogantly strutting forth to announce that he has chosen Roland Burris, a former Illinois attorney general, for the job.

Mr. Burris, a Democratic veteran who should know better, made the mistake of gratefully accepting as if anything having to do with Mr. Blagojevich were not lethally tainted.

The Democratic leadership of the Senate instantly rejected the appointment. It will ultimately not stand, said Harry Reid, the majority leader. He made it clear that the issue was not Mr. Burriss qualifications, but Gov. Blagojevichs standing as a desperate ward heeler whos lost all credibility.

Ive enjoyed the limelight Ive had for the last couple of weeks, crowed the governor who sounds ever more out of touch with reality.

The announcement amounted to another act in the opra bouffe that Mr. Blagojevich has reduced the Statehouse to in Illinois, where prosecutors have been indicting and convicting insiders in pay-for-play scandals.

The proceedings displayed the governor once again ducking any honest accounting to constituents. Mr. Burris sanctimoniously cited the presumption of innocence in criminal cases. More filibuster was employed when Representative Bobby Rush was called forth to lecture at length on the virtues of the governor and his nominee and the need to keep the Senate seat in African-American hands. Can Illinois bear any more of this?

Beyond the criminal case, the State Legislature should follow through with impeachment to force the governor out. With luck, the task will be speeded by this latest gambit.

Mr. Blagojevich shows every sign of feeding off the chaos he has created through his crass rantings about his appointment power. The many problems of Illinois cannot be addressed so long as Mr. Blagojevich remains governor. The states Senate seat cannot be filled fairly by such a discredited blowhard.

Even though The Seventeenth Amendment to the US Constitution created a provision which enables a state's governor, authorized by that state's legislature, to appoint a Senator in the event of a vacancy, until an election is held to fill the vacancy. Illinois law provides: When a vacancy shall occur in the office of United States Senator from this state, the Governor shall make temporary appointment to fill such vacancy until the next election of representatives in Congress When reading the US Constitution together with the Illinois law, it appears that Governor Blagojevichs authority to fill the Senate seat is absolute. So, by the u.s. senate refusing to allow Mr. Burris his rightful place in the senate chamber and seat him, this may have to goto court to get a ruling on the constitutional, and if so, it may be interpreted incorrectly. we shall see how this shenanagains plays out. as of this moment, the illnois govenor has not been impeached, he has not resigned, he was charged with a crime in federal court, but, people FORGET that YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!!! the govenor has full authority to appoint someone to the senate seat, and the senate MUST OBEY the Constitution!

what say ye? comment linkage at the end of this blather, speak now or forget about it!!! hava swell funday monday folks!! and yes, ill shut off the cell fone when im at the mission!! hehehe!!!
